PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

I've gotta go with Fox on this one. I read the reasons CBS gave:1) uses non-actor contestants in unfamiliar and harsh conditions, forced to work together as a team to accomplish tasks 2) Contestants must vote someone out in each episode 3) The last contestant wins a cash prize They also said something about camera angles and music. Well, to have the last person win money is the basis for many quiz shows dating back 50 years. Same for non-actor contestants. Unfamiliar conditions and teamwork? Sounds like the TV show Beat the Clock back in the 50's. Camera angles and music can easily be changed. Voting someone out is unusual, but used to be done in reverse back in the show Queen for a Day, and in the TV quiz show Twenty-One. I think CBS is wasting their time and money. Boot Camp is okay, but it's no Survivor. Poor ratings will kill it before the suit ever gets judged.
