Bobthespirit 1 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "American Cancer Society Spokesperson" 07-08-05, 00:21 AM (EST) "Rachel -- racist?" I can't figure out why Rachel would put the Arab up in the first week. She says 'I don't know him that well', but why is that? Did she try to get to know him? It's so hypocritical as a society how we feel so great about not being racist against african-americans anymore, then we tolerate racism against islamic-americans. I just hope we find out later that Kaysar's nomination wasn't due to his faith or nationality. For Rachel's sake. And I hope Kaysar doesn't get booted the first week because of his faith.   Top

LAST EDITED ON 07-08-05 AT 00:43 AM (EST) Did she try to get to know him? Maybe not, but she did say that he made no attempt to get to know her either. Seeing as she is the HOH, wouldn't it be wise to make some attempt to be friendly and chat with this person who will be choosing two people to possibly send home in a very short period of time, with very little to go on? I don't think (and hope) that his faith or race had anything to do with his nomination at all. Maybe it was for the reasons she stated on the show and nothing needs to be read into it. And welcome to the boards... Why did the chicken cross the road? It was poultry in motion.   Top
