The guys are talking about a different vote! Chad brings it up to Sarge. Now they are arguing about where Bubba sleeps and Bubba gets the first confessional! Chad is saying that Bubba gets the best spot to sleep. Bubba says he is tired of hanging out with the men and it is so lonely! The canoe appears before the earthquake! Two strangers arrive in the canoe at the men's camp and tells everyone to gather around! ONE CHIEF...he says and the guys pick Sarge! They give the necklace and the staff to Sarge and LEAVE! Over at the women's camp...the strangers are there and they appoint Scout as their chief!   Top

I didn't see any good logic behind it before, but I think I see where she is coming from now. She was able to get not only the guys that look like they would be "outcasts" from the challenge (Rory) or physically (Bubba), but she got a voter or two for herself with Ami and possibly Lisa (is LeAnn with them too?). She didn't grab a single real threat from what I can see for Yasur. Not to mention, she set up Eliza for being kicked out ASAP if she still doesn't hush up, since I bet Rory and Bubba will join whoever they can get in the majority with to stay until the expected merge. However, I have to question the strategy of giving arguably the six strongest team members (althugh Ami was really good in the challenge) all to one side, as they should really have a stranglehold on most of the physical challenges (not including puzzles, or balance beams, or pretty much anything not relying on physical strength as a main portion). It could be very risky if there is a strategical turnaround in Yasur...I'll shut up now and let everyone "enjoy" the show. And to contribute to the update, Ami's all pissy about the other girls showing the guys their "secrets" from the reward challenge. --- <== A Missionhockey21 creation   Top

There are 13 little coins (fartherest away is 30 feet) spaced apart on the rope and they will 10 mins and the one with the most coins wins. Bubba sits out. Scout and Twila are first up! Scout gets first marker and Twila is coming back. Chad and Leean in water! Chad has no problems it is tied! Julie in next. Leann comes out with one! Yasur up 2-1. Julie gets second and Rory in next and Sarge makes up time and we are tied! Chris and Eliza and she is ahead of Chris. Chris drops it and has to go back! John going down next...Ami in for Yasur. John K says he is also really happy and that the guys alliance is broken up (misdirection could have been him as well!) Yasur arrives back at their camp and says they are happy with their new tribe! Rory and Bubba says the women are making them feel very welcome! The guys are excited about the food! Bubba says he is sweatin like a prostitute in church! The men are working and trying to fit in! Ami tells Lisa that they should not show the guys how to cut open the coconut! Ami says they are five women strong and they are staying together no matter what! Challenge: Bubba says to Chris "think about the merge"! The challenge is racing through the jungle to retrieve everything they need to assemble an outrigger. Two tribe members have to paddle out in ocean and retrieve something (missed it). The first one wins immunity...Scout sits one out!   Top

I've always enjoyed coming and participating in this board because of the collaborative effort that people put into figuring the challenges, the winners and the bootees, but it seems as a whole, we've gotten quite lazy and let a few people do the deducing and taking as gospel what those who are the know-alls have to say. Hopefully, the incorrectness of this week's boot will get people to start looking at all the alternatives and not just following the pack. There have been a lot of bad leaks this season. Intertops had a bet on who would outlast Brooke and JP. Seems they were fed some bad information. Every person they had on the list lasted longer than Brooke and JP. It would seem they were fed some bad information; and this week proves that bad information was given somewhere again. Is Snewser's memo of the 9 people booted pre-jury accurate...chances very likely that they are; but maybe we should all look at all the alternatives and options before just following along. If you choose to just follow the pack, have a reason, but if you think you have information in contrary bring it up. There's a lot of clever people in this forum; Lisa was a plausible boot; to me a less unlikely one than Bubba; but it definitely shouldn't have been a hands down "Lisa's gone" week. Nor should we conclude that the only 3 possibilities to next week are John K, Julie and Lisa. What I got out of tonight's episode that leads toward Lisa as a potential boot next time is that just as Travis did not respect his new tribe, which led to his boot, Lisa does not either in her comments of "voting out one of our own", as was the case with LeeAnn as well. The new Lopevi embraced its "fate", as we saw Ami, Scout and Rory do on the new Yasur.   Top
