She's constantly yelling at Shmirna to hurry up and catch up to her when it's obvious that Shmirna is giving the race her all. Then, at every difficult detour, Mirna complains that she can't do it and Shmirna sucks it up and puts in the extra effort while Mirna yells "I'm here for you."
And what's with the way she speaks? She sounds like a two year old and kept yelling "Bellissimo" throughout Russia.

Why should she be ashamed? Part of running a good race is knowing your weaknesses and which person to pick to do things. Charla did just fine on those and probably did better than Mirna would have. So far they both have done detours and roadblocks rather well. Both knew what they were signing up for and what they might have to do.

Part of running a good race is knowing your weaknessesWhat if your 'weaknesses' are everything? She has been of virtually no help to her team unless you count her incredible skill at alienating almost every human being she encounters. Charla, on the other hand, has really impressed me. I HATED this team for awhile, but then I woke up and realized that Charla is one heck of a competitor - MIRNA is the force of evil in this world (ranked right behind Bebo, misto and emydi).

* Peach (TAR2) - A girly girl, and it showed
* Eve (TAR3) - Another useless lawyer-type
* Flo (TAR3) - The classic example of uselessness
* Jaree (TAR4) - Sick, but we're not cutting her any slack
* Russell (TAR4)- A case study in how NOT to support your partner
* Kami & Karli (TAR5) - Uh, ladies, the clue box is over there, where all the cameramen are... I don't watch a lot of other shows, but I'm sure there are other candidates from them that can make strong cases. "This is realitybites and I approved this post."

Exactly, Molaholic. This was in the same vein as the weak hockey slapshots of last episode and the mysterious delayed ferry in Episode 2.
I'm sure the producers were aware that a person like Charla would be likely to draw higher ratings. Very interesting to say the least......To me, this team is the Reichen & Chip of this season. Not that they will win necessarily, but that they have some kind of special mantra and we are being beaten over the head with it.
Last season: "Gay people can do anything straight people can do."
This season: "Little people can do anything tall people can do."
EVERY.FREAKING.EPISODE
Enough already! We heard you. Now let it go. Another similarity to Reichen & Chip: I am constantly amazed by how they fare in each episode. Consistent ineptness, followed by.... a Top 3 finish. I feel like El Guapo in "The Three Amigos", when dozens of the townspeople dressed as Amigos are running around him: "What the hell is happening?" I'm hoping for one glaring difference, however: Charla & Mirna will be eliminated. -jack_bauer

Yeah, I have to agree, they are getting a little annoying.Actually, I have a lot of respect for Charla. But I do get a little sick and tired of being beaten to death with the fact that she is a little person, midget, dwarf, etc. To me, she is just a strong-willed, even strong-bodied gal who is stuck with a whiny teammate (which happens a lot on this show). That being said, they are either the luckiest or smartest team ever to play (or have the editing to make me think so). I alternate from wanting them to be gone, mainly because Mirna bugs the living Sierra-Hotel-India-Tango out of me and I don't think she deserves to win anything, and rooting for Charla just because she reminds me of Tian from TAR4. The one who did everything. Only shorter.

I'm glad this is bashers, cause that's some real hating. Let's see: Charla and Mirna were way ahead of everyone except the FF duo, it's light and everyone else arrived after dark, and the camel place is supposed to be open until 6, and they got there to the camels at 5:30, also using the whistle. But people are going to speculate that it was rigged. Maybe we should speculate that the blocks-on-logs challenge was rigged so that the twins and the moms could finish as well.I'm just saying: Hate the cousins if you want, but don't accuse them of benefitting from a rigged game. Season after season, boring teams of type-A males have dominated, Mirna and Charla have done well and deserve to be where they are. Mirna might be annoying, but she certainly isn't the most pathetic TAR, much less on any reality show. Even the fatty brothers who hate her acknowledge her intelligence.

the camel place is supposed to be open until 6.....The information we were given on the show was that the Detour option with the camels and horses closed at 5:30 pm. What we were shown was this:
-Charla & Mirna open their Detour clue at 5:27 p.m.
-The Detour closed at 5:30 p.m.
-Charla says words to the effect of, "It's a mile away, we'll never make it."
-Charla & Mirna run across the sand and reach the Detour at 5:30 p.m. Possible conclusions:
A)-C/M actually reached the Detour card before 5:27, mistakenly thought they only had three minutes, and were actually able to reach the camels by 5:30.
B)-C/M reached the Detour card at 5:27, but the camel riders actually stayed past 5:30, allowing C/M to reach that Detour.
C)-Charla actually overestimated the distance between themselves and the Detour, and she and Mirna were able to cover the distance in three minutes. (both times were accurate)
D)-Both times and the distance were accurate, and they ran a three-minute mile.
Across sand.
Did I mention one of them's a midget? If Option A is true, the editors are attempting to make C/M look more capable than they actually are. (i.e. Look, they're really fast runners!)
If Option B is true, one of two things happened: 1)the crew told the camel riders to wait for C/M, i.e. a rigged game - or 2)the riders, for whatever reason, decided of their own volition to stay past 5:30, and C/M's gain was due to luck, not skill - admittedly a big part of the Race.
If Option C is true, then perhaps Charla exaggerated, and the camels were far closer than that. People do that all the time ("That thing weighed a ton," "I was in line for a month," etc.) Still, they looked like they were quite a ways off......
If you believe Option D is true, well, maybe you've been playing CanadaGirl's drinking game a bit too much. I'm just saying: Hate the cousins if you want, but don't accuse them of benefitting from a rigged game. Now, do I know what really happened? No, I wasn't there. My point was that I was annoyed with the editing, thought it might be a little suspicious, and I was offering speculation as to why that might be so. Yes, I'm offering possible conclusions based on incomplete information, and I can't prove any of these scenarios right. But unless you have complete information, you also can't prove them wrong.

Yes, I posted on this somewhere else, but I agree completely.
There is alot of manipulation going on to keep these two high up in the game (and in the game at all). There was alot of time between St. Pete's and Cairo to figure out Detours/Roadblocks. It was clear that Team Intensity was arriving far in advance of everyone, and once they checked into the pitstop before noon, there was still time to change everything around to favor Cousins. It would be very interesting to know how long it took everyone else to haul the blocks. I am actually surprised to see that the dough boys, twins and moms are credited as finishing it. I don't see how twins and moms could do it. It looked hard as hell.

The block roadblock was really not that difficult if you understood the basic concept of what to do. What made it tough was purely pulling the rocks. I don't really think it took that long, probably as long as the camel ride.Say what you like about the annoying Mirna, but it was Mirna who was able to book an earlier flight to Cairo. She also saved the midgets ##### from hauling the heavy blocks by forcing Charla to run to the camels before the deadline. I knew that whistle would come in handy. Charla may have the muscle, but Mirna is the driving force behind this duo.
Exactly. Too many people do not realize that Mirna being pushy is a good thing because she does not take no for an answer. She does not let the other teams stop her from getting on a flight, or a taxi. She insists on the best flight possible, and does not just accept what ever tickets everyone else has. Mirna also has to do the driving. Always. I'm wondering if the team might do a bit better in the navigation department if Charla was able to drive via them bringing in some pedal extenders. Some of you forget that the only reason you all have recognized how good Charla is at the strength and eating challenges is because Mirna let's Charla do them. They are playing to their strengths. If Charla is better with the eating tasks, let her do them. If Charla would do better than Mirna at going down the tube, who cares what Mirna's reason for not doing them? A smart pair of racers lets the person who can do the roadblock best do them, even if it means that person does seven in a row. They don't let the other one do it just to "pull their own weght". The exceptions are for people like Kami/Karli, and Bob/Joyce, who really don't have notable differing strengths and weaknesses. Don't forget that Mirna is forced to do any roadblock where speed is neccesary. Not to mention that she has to slow herself down for Charla. She knew that would happen, and puts up with it, but it still must be frustrating.

Yea, yea, so she booked an earlier flight..and "drives" Schmirna like a work horse...still, completely unlikeable and offensive to me. I don't particularly like Schmirna, but I sure do respect her when she pulls thru. Not so much when she plays the "poor little me" card, but I guess she has learned to use that to her advantage in life. And, yes, What the heck is with the both of them continually saying "Bellisimo" in Russia and Egypt...hello??? Where are you? That is really driving me round the bend. I think if I have to watch one more week of Mirna/Charla, I will go crazy. I have actually asked my daughter to let me know when they are eliminated and I will start watching the show again. Tis a shame, I really like this show and have disliked other contestants in the past, but I have never felt about a team the way I do about Mirna/Charla, she is rude, arrogant, b**i**t**c**h**y and if she talks about people being jealous of her one more time, I will throw up. What in heavens name does this girl think she has that anyone would be jealous of? I can only gasp in surprise when I read articles that they are the favorite team. What idiot puts that out? NO ONE I know likes them and everyone would like nothing better than to see them elimanted. I will continue to monitor the board to keep up on what the other teams are doing and as soon as Charla/Mirna are gone, I will be back to watching the show.

I agree. But Boi, it's okay. If I were to put myself in the fishbowl and become a contestant on this or any other RTV show, I would know to be prepared to be bashed, chided, praised, argued over, poked fun at, nicknamed, speculated over, judged, sliced, diced and chopped. If I were important enough to bring laughter to others and rise anger and outrage in others, hey, I've done my job...and pleased myself at no end. Why? Cuz I can laugh at myself, and enjoy doing so. Making a fool of myself is no stranger to me (I'm 54) and have done so in public and on stage many times...so what? Life is too short to take ourselves too seriously. Plus, what would I do with the dog if I were so rigid?

Ya know, I have waffled back amd forth over the popularity of Charla and Mirna. Even though they have been eliminated, I still think they were smart and savvy. Lets face it, nobody is in it to make friends - there in it to win the mil. I think Mirna's attitude will soon be seen in many of the others as the race gets closer to completion. However, I do believe Mirna made Charla do way to many of the chalenges - even though Charla wanted to prove herself, perhaps they were both being a little selfish and it proved their undoing.

I hear that Spitee and Shrinky keep yammering on about an "All Star" Amazing Race. Seeing as how A.S.S. blew, I hope that never happens. Using up the last part of their 15 minutes, these floaters are harder to flush than a Ping-Pong ball.

Our sentiments exactly. NOOO to TAR allstars. Unless, of course, I and everyone who agrees with me gets to pick the contestants. Okay???? NO? Oh well. Sounded good. So how about if we all get to veto at least one pair from each season? Aren't we the experts, after all?
