I think it's really smart of you to bring those quotes up, and if those statements came from any other player, I'd seriously consider potential foreshadowing and a soon-to-occur boot. But, I think Big Tom is just such a loose cannon that these statements, given his context and demeanor, suggest he's just being silly and happy-go-lucky. Maybe, though! It's definitely worth logging in the back of our heads...

Is that what he said? Mrs Frankz and I looked at each other several times last night and said "What the f***?" And we live in Texas. You would think we were used to that by now.

And yes, I do see it as foreshadowing. Like you mentioned, there are so many clips they can use in editing. Seems quite odd they used these. I don't think he makes final 4.

I too thought that Tom said "Ah'm not leavin tuhday til ..." as opposed to "Ah'm not leavin thuh game til ...). But with that accent - it's hard to be sure!

....its not a sginificant enough event for it to qualify as a forshadowing quote. The segment in question was there solely for anectdotal purposes and the quote in question was there to further the segment along and give it a nice happy ending when Tom does, in fact, catch a fish.
