The race starts on the platforms and it is raining...14 crates are in the boats and have to remove one by one. pull boat to platform...turn boat over and row to shore. Rupert, Ethan, Tom, Rob M and Lex and Richard seem to be doing the most work. Saboga's boat up first! Going back to platform. Rob C. and Tom turn boat over in the water. Richard follows Chapera now in second place and Mogo in last place. Chapera flipping boat! Saboga is bailing water rather than turning it over! Mogo Got their boat to platform and flipped! Saboga still dippin water! Chapera is ahead with Mogo in secodn...both are rowing to shore. Saboga is still at platform! Mogo takin on water big time.. Chapera has it all together and the other two are struggling big time. Chapera wins immunity as first team across....Mogo second to cross and wins immunity.. Saboga still in water!   Top

Preferrably, this conversation would've taken place in front of Rudy, who would also be finding out at this point that Jenna and Jerri intend to vote him out. Looking at who Rupert is and how he presents himself, and adding in Ethan's strength (ie. It would be dumb to try to turn this strategy back on him and vote him out when they need him for challenges) how would he possibly get out of doing this (without looking like the scum of the earth)? Also, Rudy is one of the biggest sheep ever. Just having him around guarantees a free vote. I'd protect him at all costs.   Top

The bottom line is that now Rudy is gone, and Ethan STILL has the option of Rupert as an ally -- and Rupert still has the option Ethan as an ally. Maybe its just me, but it was pretty clear to me that Rupert was saying he was agreeable to the idea of Rudy going -- he knew it was necessary for the long-term health of the tribe -- but couldn't break his alliance with him and vote for him   Top

Judging by Rudy's parting words, Rupert kept Rudy entirely in the dark about Jenna and Jerri's intentions. He let Rudy think that Ethan was next to go and let Rudy take one right in the back. He was hauling a$$ underwater throwing those crates out, too! I wasn't too big of a Rob M. fan in Marquesas (though I didn't hate him as much as most), but I'm starting to like the guy. I can't figure out which team to root for!
