PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

I started gettig suspicious when there were so many shout-outs for people to text message to certain questions about "Starting Over" houseguests and life coaches. Then I noticed how the length of the "need to stay" for certain guests was obviously based upon ratings and not true need. Sure had me going. There for a while, I thought it was all about the LOVE! Now I see that "Starting Over" is more like a soap opera -- more interested in culling info for marketing companies and selling soap than helping the women. Boo hoo.

The first season started off so nicely......then the female producer dies (Plus two soap opera writers were added) and the show begins to slowly change to what it is now.....one can only wonder what season three will be......
BUT for the ladies who now go on the show, I have NO sympathy for how they are edited.....they know how the show is and how it is edited for drama and they really can't call foul after they leave. Season one, til about halfway through I watched it as a documnetary-to learn......since then I've watched it as if it was more of a soap opera han a learning process. Well, can't say now I have never watched a soap opera....chuckling

BoooHooo is right I agree with you SO has turned into a bad soap or shall I say an ameture soap show compared to Season 1. I got to say also that I can't deny that I did not get help out of some of the episods reflecting my own life issues.
