It is updated regularly, often on Thursday morning, when new information becomes available or is confirmed. The changes observed are often the best clues available to help us distinguish between what Snewser thinks and what he knows. You need my avatar, Orange. Actually I was surprised as anyone to see CO's F7 order match the scorecard. That really was best educated guess, and didn't come from the same sources, according to his descriptions. Info for that part of the game almost always turns out to be wrong. It would truly be a first if it turns out to be right. I drew up the list of F9 on the scorecard based on a completely different avenue, and I've changed it once already. In fact, it's kind of bizarre and would make you laugh. I don't think the people CO spoke to could have arrived at the same conclusion the same way. In fact the meshing of conclusions is all very freaky to me now.

Most probably, he has lapped and confusing spoilers from different sources. But for a long run, he pinned Lex, Kathy, Alicia, and Shii Ann in their respective places. (Based on what I see, it seems like Chapera and Saboga joined forces in booting Mogo Mogo members, but luckily Shii Ann won one immunity or maybe had convinced some of them to boot Alicia.)

As it appears that Snewser has sufficient spoilers before an episode to predict the outcome, several of the questions in his own game got me thinking: First, there's the question: Not including the weekly recap, what days on the island will this episode cover in total (Note: episode 2 consisted of Days 4 through 6)? Answers include: Day 7 only, Day 7-8 only, Day 7-9 only, or none of the above. He's never had a question like that before, and it strikes me as an odd one, if the episode follows the normal pattern. The only reason I can think of why there'd be less than 3 days shown, is if there's no IC. Is it a trick question, or does SNewser know something we don't? Question 6 asks: 6. Will an Immunity Challenge (IC) be shown in this episode? The answers include: Yes day 7, yes day 8, yes day 9, no it will be cancelled, or inconclusive. Again, if he were speculating about JennaM leaving this week, why ask what day the IC is held on? It hints that he knows one is not held, IMHO. Then there's Question 9: 9. On what day will JennaM actually leave the game in this episode? Answers include: day 7, day 8, day 9, or none of the above. Of course, by giving none of the above as an option, it wouldn't appear to totally give away that Jenna goes this week, but the phrasing of the question makes it pretty clear that at least snewser thinks so. There are two more questions dealing with the logistics of the JennaM departure, and "who else besides JennaM is booted." I don't know if anyone else has been following the snewser game, but I don't recall in the past there being a situation where so much was assumed in the phrasing of the questions. I think everyone here realizes that Snewer is a spoiler just like the rest of us, until Thursday when he apparently somehow gets confirmation of his "sourced" information. Snewser is, however, well repected and webmaster of SNN, a high profile spoiler site. Because of this he receives lots of "tips" from various sources. Last season he was burned a few times by "little birdies" that "chirped", but eventually proved inaccurate. As a result Snewser is much more careful this season about what he posts. Snewser is undoubtably receiving many "tips" each week and I would venture to say most are hoaxes. Snewser does, however, have more experience than most, when it comes to distinguisging the real thing from the hoaxes. Last week Snewser moved Jerri from last of the prejury boots up two spots, in front to of Colby and Ethan. This week he has moved her back. We can track this change and assume that Snewser may have received a tip about Jerri that triggered last week's repositioning of Jerri, since then that tip proved to be a hoax, or at least less reliable than the original information, and he moved her back. Tracking Snewsers Scorecard is just a tool to add to our spoiling arsenal. Look at them as his "posts" speculating about the next week, and give them whatever weight you think they deserve. Snewser is a good spoiler and deserves the same respect you'd give Brownroach, Verucasalt or any of the other spoilers whose posts you read...

Half the fun is trying to figure out when he's toying with us and when he's not. I do enjoy the process of trying to spoil the spoiler, **waves at Snewser**, we're here because we enjoy spoiling, after all. In fact now that you mention it, I may pull out your old "Confessional Analysis" and dust it off for EP5...just for the fun of it!

I think I was one of very few here who did not fall for it.Actually, very few people on SB fell for Snewser's Lil pick for S7 E8. There was a lot of debate about it (was it a legit mistake or was he just messing with us or did he actually KNOW something or...), but in the end, very few people changed their vote to Lil based on Snewser's pick. He has also added a comment about Lex's upcoming Mohawk making an appearance... Snewser is either hedging his bet or teasing us, by grouping Ethan and Colby together and making this week's boot choice between Colby and Ethan. Edited to add: Except for when the pre-merge boots were in alphabetical order, Snewser has always had Ethan going before Colby. It was only Jerri that he appeared to be uncertain about, as she has jumped to the front of the line, and then to the back again. He now seems certain that she is safe this week.

Now that DarkRivers has confirmed Jerri is safe this week, we might speculate about the information Snewser had leading up to this week...In the weeks leading up to EP8, Snewser moved Jerri to a boot position earlier than Ethan and Colby, but a week later moved her back to the last pre-jury position, after Ethan and Colby. In hindsight, it appears that whatever information Snewser received about Jerri outlasting Colby and Ethan was correct...

DarkRivers is the real thing, the orginal insider. He's been around a long time, going back to S2. When DarkRivers speaks, spoilers listen...Jerri is safe, Ethan is gone, You can take it to the bank.Orangeena is a different case. This is the first season that Orangeena has gained respect because he/she has apparently connected with a real "source". Some have speculated that DarkRivers is Orangeena's source...I don't know. DarkRivers is well respected and has a flawless record.

I agree that Shii Ann is the next to go however, last year snewsers had Darrah in the final spot right up to the last second. I am not going to jump to any conclusions that the last 5 go in the order that they are listed now. It did not work that way last year - not sure about other shows though.

I am fairly new here but not a "rookie" the last two seasons Snewsers has had the final 4 correct but has not had them 100% correct in order on his page until the last moment not giving away the winner until the very end. If I am not mistaken he had Darah as the winner right up until the end (see above post) also same thing when Jenna won -she was not in the 1st position until the end. I just dont think snewsers is the type to "give away" the final line up this early - has he done that in previous survivors? I almost think that since Jenna/Rob are showing as F2 only one of them will be final 2 not both - just a thought. Lil was in the 2nd place position for a long time right?

The change makes sense to me. I was having a hard time figuring out how a Rob/Jenna F2 would take place (except by resorting to the "man, these A.S.S.es are stoopid!" argument).Jenna wins final IC: Who would she have a better shot of beating, the mastermind or the one perceived as his tagalong bimbette? Choosing Rob over Amber would replace Lex's blunder as the biggest in the game. Rob wins final IC: No way does he blow his chance of getting the million and the girl by picking Jenna instead. So, looking at a Jenna/Amber F2...who wins final IC? Obviously, Jenna would take Amber, but what would Amber do? On the one hand, taking Rob with her guarantees that if she didn't win (which she wouldn't, in that case), that her next favorite choice in the game would. But taking Jenna gives Amber the better shot of winning the whole thing. It's still there for me. Place your cursor over the middle checkmark box and wait a second or two. It appears and disappears again after a few seconds. The most promising spec on the meaning so far that I have seen are Krautboy's "It will be Amber that steals the finale. Damn." ; someone at SurvivorFire who speculates "I (Snewser)will be at the survivor ? finale" or or Nasty Nana at Sucks who reversed the letters to make D. FTSTABWI and specs "For the second time Amber Brkich wins immunity" It is interesting that only the letters that correspond to competitors are A for Amber and T for Tom. At least folks are having fun with this.

Rob M. Not on the list at all So take your pick - Could be a Tom/Amber final or a Jenna/Rob final or a Rupert/Shii-Ann final (sorry started laughing at the last possibility). While we're inventing theories based on letters that may or may not have showed up (they didn't for me), how about this. Shii Ann has only her first inital show up - she's next

Amber's initials show up but backwards, same with Tom, so keep going to the . Go back up the list and you hit TB. Repeat until you get AB
And we're left with Jenna and Rawb.
Heck, WI show up in Jenna LeWIs' last name, so she must lose to Rawb in the finale. I've now managed to fanagle these phantom letters into the boot list for the rest of the show. Although the gambling spoiler would point more towards an Amber/Tom final twosome. Typical Snewser-like (disappearing) message that can be interpreted any way you really want to. I like that last one.Even though in SNN's lists, Rupert SEEMS to be F4, I'm thinking there's a possibility he may be F5. Only because if you see the All-Star graphic on the left side at SNN, it's got a star, and 4 Survivor logos: Borneo, Marquesas, Africa, and Australia. Dagnabbit, I was just coming to post my own new theory when I stumbled onto this new wrinkle here.an update: since emydi's post 5hrs ago, the Sucks web geeks have been at work. Most initially took it as proof that Amber wins. And much was made of Jeff Varner's banning from the finale being the result of his having spoiled Amber wayback. Then, the same hidden script was discovered on JennaM's site which is a featured link from Amber's. Some came up with spec on Amber and Jenna and even related it back to the original Snewser anagram but it was so stupid I forget it and am not wasting time hunting it up again. From there some of the ubergeeks delved into the underlying code of the two websites. The tiny font used to hide the text on the two site's was originally named "tinyifwt". Freequent googlers posted having checked for Snewser's phrase recently so they knew the text had just been added to both pages. Then the script name on Amber's page was changed from "tinyfwt" to "watercoolerdogma". Later in the day the "IWBATSTF.D" text disappears from Jenna's site and the font name on Amber's changes back to "tinyfwt". As these are miniscule changes they attract interest and the geeks keep digging. Someone specs that tinyfwt = tiny fvck with them Most recently, someone has pointed out that Amber's and Jenna's sites are both designed and hosted by ontv.com which apparently has Pittsburgh connections - where both girls are from. Now the current theory has a website nerd from ontv.com planting the clue in order to draw attention to the hometown faves, and many at Sucks seem to be doubting Amber's victory all over again, particularly since ontv's site contains the following: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That got me thinking, and since I remembered that last seasons best hint was follow the money, I started trying to make Snewser's anagram connect to Intertops/Betting somehow. what i came up with IWBATSTF.D = I Wouldn't Bet Against The Survivor Three Farmer. Some folks with eagle eyes have spotted a teeny little series of initials at the bottom of Amber's web site this week, initials that clearly identify the winner of Survivor All-Stars to those who are able to decipher the code. Or maybe it's the model number of a muffler for a 1978 Ford Pinto. We really have no freakin' idea.
Initials are fun.
This series of letters first appeared on another popular Survivor site, hidden in such a way that only true geeks might take notice of them. Once the true geeks found out about this mystery, they posted them to other discussion boards on the web, where people began to speculate what it all meant. We enjoy screwing around with people as much as the next guy, so we thought it would be a barrel of fun to post the same set of initials at the bottom of Amber's site. We did this on Tuesday, and by Wednesday the message boards were buzzing with new speculation about why this would appear on Amber's site (we also posted it on Jenna Morasca's site for a little while, just to add more fuel to the fire). Well, we have been getting all sorts of e-mail from people, wondering why... WHY... WHY!!?!?! Why are these initials appearing here? What is Amber trying to tell us?! Could these messages be a prelude to the end of the world? As we mentioned, we don't have the slightest clue what IWBATSTF.D. might mean. Perhaps it's a hint about the outcome of the presidential election, or the key code to Osama bin Laden's cave. Maybe it's a recipe. It really could mean anything. We're very sorry if anyone fried any precious brain cells while trying to figure this out. But if you really spent that much time trying to figure this out, well, um, you have way too much time on your hands to begin with! Of course, you're hearing this criticism from people who have so much time on their hands that they'd post this message on the site just to goof around in the first place, so what're ya gonna do."

Here's some stuff to consider.The Jurassic Park guy. It says "uh uh uh... You didn't say the magic word..." Please? The significance of Bush and the shell game? What does this mean? Something about Kerry? I dunno. This reminds me of a previous Snewser clue from S6. It was right before the infamous false Heidi boot, which turned out to be Christy. He posted a picture of that underground door in Lord of the Rings (first one) and had a little poem written. We were supposed to guess the right phrase to get the response. The answer was "Milkshaky was right." Milkshaky, being a poster at SS, who stated that Heidi was gone that week. So maybe someone's right again?

I also tried a few variations of the survivors names. I would assume that he would use something from the other message board since he spends his time posting over there. Who has put their neck out on that site? I don't visit that site (I find the flaming boring and distracting). All I know of is Orangeena. Got any others we could try? First time to post, please forgive me if I am way out here. I was intrigued by the post with the shell game articles. Here are the final paragraphs of the linked articles mentioned:"As any street hustler knows, shell games work only as long as people don't understand the con. Apparently, Bush and his campaign advisers think we'll never catch on. The only way to stop the deception is for the public to demand accountability."
"President Bush's manipulative shell games fool only his supporters. The rest of us can see that he uses exaggeration and minimization to trick us into supporting things that we wouldn't support if we knew the truth." FWIW, two ideas about these summations. First idea, Mark Burnett is compared to George Bush as the con artist playing the shell game with the viewer. He manipulates the editing so we will root for or against a certain person. So is Snewser saying we have been manipulated by the editing? The ending will be a surprise? Second idea, Rob is compared to George Bush, playing the game. The jury is who demands accountability at the deception (saying their peace at the final TC). Rob fooling people into support with deceptive promises. Is Snewser saying Rob is the ultimate con man and has played a shell game all season. Somewhere on this board or at SS it was said Rob wins because he pleas a better case than Amber to the jury?!? Maybe this is the true shell game? I don't know, but I really think the above article paragraphs have some interesting parallels to the game and definitely some angles to think about. By the way, Rupert went to college in West Texas, Cisco in Abilene and Angelo State in San Angelo. George Bush is from Midland (in between Cisco and San Angelo). I know I am fishing, but hey gotta try that angle too!

If Darkrivers is right, it looks like someone sacrifices themself (maybe not consciously) and takes the wrong person to the F2.I don't think this applies to Jenna, as I don't think she could beat neither Amber nor Rob. Maybe for Amber. Her odds are definitely higher going into the F2 against Jenna. However, I think she'd have pretty good odds against Rob too... I could see Rob taking his sweetheart to the finals, in a Colby-esque move. Even though he says he wouldn't give up the million.

DB, what I meant is this: if this was the intent, in order to set it up, there would have to be a clue/password, an answer, and a mechanism to provide the answer. The clue is the phrase "I won't be able to see the finale. Doggonit." To provide the answer "I won", the apostrophe keystroke is rigged to erase all of the text following it once you click on the button. Now, if you type in any other phrase that has an apostrophe, the keystroke will erase the subsequent text as well, since it was rigged to do so. But the answer will appear meaningless since the correct "password" phrase was not entered. (And obviously you can enter any phrase starting with "I won't..." and get the "correct" answer, but how would you know to do that? The clue was given in the form of an appropriate sentence). Maybe I'm just too much of a puzzlehead, though.

I am not posting this for kudos or any type of glory.....I believe everyone already knows this....but it doesn't seem to have been explicitly stated, so here it is just so it has been said (so please don't blast me for stating the obvious)I won't be able to see the finale. Doggonit. = IWBATSTF.D. of course, the original long statement could have been made up to justify the acronym, and thus the acronym may still have further significance. But the intitials could just be a prompt to get you to enter the long phrase to ultimately see "I won"....why not. Doesn't snewser also state that the website will be auto updated just before the show airs. If that's the case, then maybe snewser is just yanking everyone's chain, watching the hit counter climb as everyone tries to figure out the password. He also has the "watch this space" statement, right where the Mr. Knight pic appears (further antagonising people?).... As for Bush, you guys know your American Politics much better than I (being in Canada and all). But Bush does have three shells, his hands on two of them....maybe further taunting you with "which one will it be, which one will it be". In Jurassic park....do they ever discover what the magic word was? Wasn't it burried in "2 million lines of code" or something like that?.....hmmmm 2 million Also odd, how the text line truncates at an apostrophe, but not for any other punctuation, and removes all capitals. Now I am no webdesigner, so I can't be certain....but all that would likely have been deliberate right?

follow the money. I tried that too. But what about the betting site/odds and some word play on that? Also, I don't think he would have the words to type in being the name of the winner. He would want it to be a hint, so it goes to the winners picture or whatever. So looking at some of the ideas above, I tried (wives club, varner was right, follow the betting odds, underdog wins, outback connection). Anyway, just trying to spur some thoughts for us. I sure would like to beat SNNewser at his lame game. Edited to add: If Orangeena, Dark Rivers and TDT are correct picking Rob to win, maybe we can use that to get confirmation from SNNewser. So clues on that vein:
boston red sox fan, red sox fan, patriot fan, new england patriot fan, boston tea party, ambers squeeze, patriot missles.... Get Bent
