This morning on CBS, Jiffy was interviewed and talked of the new ASS.....how it is the most challenging of all Survivors, blah, blah, blah. One highlight he mentioned of interest was pertaining to the very first romance of Survivor occurs on ASS! Now, who could be getting involved?????.....and how involved are they getting?????.....talk about alliances!

If I recall correctly, I believe Colby was honoring a promise he made to Amber when Colby, Amber, and Jerri made a final 3 pact. I think he promised not to ever vote against her. Subsequently, he switched to aligning with Tina and Keith, but still kept his word to Amber. There were more than enough votes to oust Amber anyway, and I believe he okayed it with Tina and Keith as well before the TC where Amber went.

I read on a website (Survivorfever.net?) shortly after Jenna winning S6 that she was dating Ethan. This was before ASS started filming. So any seeds of romance were planted then.

If she was that close to her mom I doubt if she could stay. Having lost both of my parents (seperately) I know the toll it takes on you physically and especially emotionally. It takes a while to touch back down to earth and get on with everyday life.So if she decided to stay I can see her getting booted out because she's so miserable (no tissues on the island, remember), and because she stopped strategizing when she went into mourning. That would leave her left behind by two tribal councils at least. And if she was the cause of her tribe losing, you bet they would vote her out to save themselves. There would be no sympathy for her losing Survivor, since she won first place in Amazon. The vote would be: You need to be with your family and friends during this time of great need. P.S. I hope none of you has to experience the loss of a loved parent anytime soon. That's my New Years wish to you all. P.S.S. My uncle died on Christmas day this year. Can't explain the impact this had on the family.

Yes, I do agree, I think that Amber is alot classier girl than Sarah ever was, and it fits with Rob's prior actions on Marquesas that he would try to align with her. Rob, as crude and as rough around the edges as he is, I think could be quite charming if we wanted to be....he's a bit full of himself and devilish which some women find appealing. He has a "bad boy" charm and he's quite attractive physically. From all of the speculation it sounds as if they form quite a solid alliance, I dare say that this sounds like the romance to me alright! Also there was a quote about Rob C's plotting and admitting an alliance with Lamber (we know they are friends as they are pictured from some pregame survivor party together), and admitting, why would'nt he align with her for all of the "obvious" reasons....she's pretty. (Sure sounds like the Rob C. we know and love!) Why would'nt I be able to trust her.....I doubt she'd backstab me......Well if she's romantically attracted to Boston Rob, and speculation supports that he goes earlier if not the first in the Chapera tribe, then I could see her going with the Robfather and voting off/double crossing her old friend Rob C. Jiffy has been quoted that he thinks this romance will last "at least as long as the Bachelor/Bachelorette ones". Definately think this mystery is solved, Rob and Lamber are going to stay true to each other to the end and perhaps beyond!

1) The romanace takes place between people in the same initial tribe (a real romance needs a little time to develop)
2) The romance takes place between two single people
3) With the exception of Richard, all the other contestants are heterosexual. That leaves the following 9 possible pairings: S Tribe
1) Ethan - Jenna (Jenna actively plotting Ethan's demise. No love lost seen here. Especially during the TC)
2) Ethan - Jerri (Jerri actively plotting Ethan's demise) M Tribe:
3)Colby - ShiAnn
4)Colby - Jenna (likely leaving soon due to mom's death)
5)Colby - Kathy (Colby may have a mother fixation, but this would be really crazy) C Tribe:
6) Amber - Rob C
7) Amber - Rob M
8) Alicia - Rob C (Alicia seems pretty cranky out there)
9) Alicia - Rob M (Alicia seems pretty cranky out there) Of these 9 pairings, we saw a little spark between Amber and Boston Rob during the episode. I think this is preparing us for the romance. In addition, Rob has already done a little romance on Survivor with Sarah. And Rob and Amber are both from New England. Plus, none of the other pairings look reasonable to me

As a matter of fact, the duo left evidence behind when they left Panama... a romantic love letter that our Lothario had written to his pretty Dulcinea. I wonder how much this love letter would go for on eBay. If Rob and Amber are the final 2, when did he write her a love letter? They don't have pencils and paper during the game. And don't they generally come home the day after the game ends? So where was this letter found, and when was it written?...

....first, to answer one of your questions, no, they don't come home the day after the game ends. There is at least a day or two before they leave so they can have the wrap party and take care of any unfinished production issues such as wrap up interviews.
Which leads to the answer to the main question, when could the letter have been written. Easy answer, the letter could've been written back in the hotel after the show was over. The article never statest that the letter was written during the game, only that it was written before they left Panama. That time frame would encompass the time between the end of filming and the wrap party...more than enough time to write a letter.
