Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."
I personally thought she "got it" in a big way. She's probably always had a dream of being a model because she is pretty and has probably been told that all her life. She has probably also heard some nice person say something like, "You are so pretty, have you ever thought about being a model?" Very flattering for a girl who, deep down, doesn't think much of herself.
I didn't think it was wrong for her to keep the hair to show the HM's. She had fun and wanted to share the experience with her friends. I think she knows that she had a once-in-a-lifetime experience and now needs to focus on what she really wants to be when she grows up.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34
