moleseeker 36 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Beauty Pageant Celebrity Judge" 03-12-01, 06:35 PM (EST) "March 24 shows 1-8 highlights" Why are they doing this extra episode? They didn't the first time. They may just want an extra week of ratings. However, consider this. They edit the show in a way to make us like or dislike the people there. What if we arent reacting they way they want to one of the Survivors. The footage they show may change the way we think about them. For instance: A nicer Jerri, A more cunning Amber, A more aggressive Elizabeth. Interesting thoughts. I guess we will know on the 24th.   Top

My newspaper says " CBS has announced that it will push back the finale of the season from April 26 to May 3. On March 14 and 21, the show will air on Weds. night so it won't conflict with NCAA tournament coverage. Instead of following the kids out in the Outback on the 21st, CBS will air highlights and never-before-seen footage from the shows first eight episodes." It will be interesting to see what clips we get to see, it could be a strategic move, since they are showing the extra footage on March 21st, instead of waiting til it's all over, and showing it last. By bumping the finale up until April it's supposed to fight with NBC's Friends wedding finale in the ratings.... CBS needs a win, and they'll get it. I think it's more about ratings than making changing our Survivor perspectives.   Top
