Oh, Bacon, Bacon, Bacon....I can only hope that you really ARE kidding. The poor kid couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, for Pete's sake. He also forgot words more often than Ozzy Osbourne does when he's SOBER, and he dances like one of the creatures from a "Night of the Living Dead" movie as it starts to come to life. Even with "Conga", he couldn't keep up with the others, was just standing around sometimes or fumbling. The song he sang to Granny was a flop, too, cuz he either forgot the words or fumbled them, then smiled at the camera when he did it. Just for the poor kid's dignity, IT WAS TIME! Please believe us when we tell you. Listening to him was like hearing the song through one of those old, scratchy radios. Or like hearing him sing through a pipe. For those who remember "Little Orphan Annie" radio shows, maybe you just like John's voice cuz it brings back your childhood? Sounds just like him, if you think about it. Let the kid go home, grow up, and maybe do some more voice work. One day, maybe he'll try again.

All of you out there who didn't vote this kid through must be completely tone-deaf.I didn't vote for him because I'm only voting for people who are just like me. He's a pasty white kid from New York. I'm only voting for 40-year-old married women from New York with two kids. Annyway, even if I were voting for people strictly on their singing talent, I still wouldn't vote for him because he broke up with his girlfriend right after he got into American idol, can you believe it????? And he flaunted his single status right there on the TV by dancing so badly. AND BACON DON'T YOU DARE TELL ME I CANT EXPRESS MY OPININON ABOUT JOHN ON THIS BOARD BECAUSE THIS IS AMERICA AND I HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH TO SAY WHATEVER I WANT!!!

John Stevens SUCKS. Sorry to say, but he does. He can't hit barley any notes unless they are flat, he can't remember any of the words to songs, and doesn't bother to learn dance moves that the rest of the gang is doing. Why is/was he there? IMHO....out of pity because he is cute. I happen to NOT be tone deaf, tyvm and have many years of playing instruments under my belt....

Im not American but if I was American, I would never vote for John Stevens. He's horrible.He may sing his heart out but still he is Horrible. I would vote for LaToya but again Im not American. (Im Canadian-Trinidadian)
