"Survivor 7: Episode Schedule" |
Les Moonves announced in a recent press conference that Survivor 7 would premiere on Sept. 18 (one week prior to the rest of the fall season).Below is the predicted schedule for the episodes. This schedule is based on the following four assumptions: 1) There will be 13 regular episodes and 1 recap episode (as was the case for Survivor 3-6... S2 had 14 episodes and a recap, but was 42 days in the Outback, S1 was the only series to NOT have a recap). 2) The recap will occur on Thanksgiving (as was the case for S5... S3, the only other series to air during the fall television season, had a recap earlier in the season and aired a regular episode on Thanksgiving, with very poor ratings). 3) The finale will occur on a Thursday and NOT on a Sunday (S4 and S6 had their finales on a Sunday to avoid preempting CSI's season finale, which will not be an issue midseason... all other series have had a three hour season finale on their regularly scheduled night.) 4) The show will premiere AFTER Thursday, September 11 (for obvious reasons, confirmed by Moonves, above) and will conclude BEFORE Thursday, December 25 (for obvious reasons, as well). This gives us the following episode schedule: Thurs., Sept. 11 - Show Has Not Yet Begun (2 Year Anniversary of 9/11)
Thurs., Sept. 18 - Episode 1; 16 contestants compete (90 Minute Premiere???)
Thurs., Sept. 25 - Episode 2; 15 contestants compete (Note: Network Season Premiere Week)
Thurs., Oct. 2 - Episode 3; 14 contestants compete
Thurs., Oct. 9 - Episode 4; 13 contestants compete
Thurs., Oct. 16 - Episode 5; 12 contestants compete
Thurs., Oct. 23 - Episode 6; 11 contestants compete
Thurs., Oct. 30 - Episode 7; 10 contestants compete
Thurs., Nov. 6 - Episode 8; 9 contestants compete
Thurs., Nov. 13 - Episode 9; 8 contestants compete
Thurs., Nov. 20 - Episode 10; 7 contestants compete
Thurs., Nov. 27 - Episode 10.5; RECAP (Thanksgiving Day)
Thurs., Dec. 4 - Episode 11; 6 contestants compete
Thurs., Dec. 11 - Episode 12; 5 contestants compete
Thurs., Dec. 18 - Episode 13; 4 contestants compete (Two Hour Finale; One Hour Reunion)
Thurs., Dec. 25 - Show Has Concluded (Christmas Day) PS: No... it's not time to schedule episode summaries or SOTS yet... we'll let you know.

Seriously, I'll be away on vacation Aug. 9-16, and won't have access to a computer. Let is be known by all that I am interested in writing a summary, or a SOTS, this season.

I'll be in California (one state away) for my nephew's and neice's birthday party (ages 3 and 1 respectively). I think we're going to the beach at Malibu again this year. Won't be back 'til 8/17. I want to write a summary. Thanks.
