He would have been gone before the merge without Richard's "help".I know Richard is also getting something in return;A dependable voting partner week after malnourished week.But Rudy--at least from the editing--has demonstrated little effort in teaming up with susan, or Kelly if the situation demands it.Basically Rudy is behaving like a kept woman.I'm specifically thinking of the implied threats he made toward Richard in the last episode.the one's related second-hand by richard. Something along the lines of Rudy "harrassing people back in the real world' if he was betrayed. I'm also having a hard time picturing Rudy win given the manner in which he was edited last episode.Sure,the Rudy's Blair witch Project was a landmark in TV Game shows.Almost everyone who has ever sat at their school desk while staring down at a quiz sheet full of questions that might as well have been written in chinese,because you had spent the previous two weeks in class doodling in their notebooks,couldn't help let out a cheer of RUDY!!" RUDY! RUDY,every time he said "I don't Know". But other than that,Rudy is shown as increasingly nasty,or distant.If Rudy does win,i would think MB will show a kinder,gentler Rudy early in EPisode 13. I'm rooting for Kelly. IT's quite apparent its all about the IM challenges for MS.Wigglesworth.It would be to her advantage to get rich ousted in the Round of 4.She would have no competition in final3 IM chl if Rich is not there.i read on the boards here,that somebody thinks she couldn't have won because kelly was still working as a kayaker tour guide.--perhaps her and Gervase could do tours together--Remember, no one has received any prize money as of yet.Seems reasonable for Kels Bels to keep herself busy. it's hard to picture Soozin winning the Mil. She's pissed off one too many people--Sean,Gervase, perhaps others--to win a final showdown vote.I believe,even Richie boy may take her in the final showdown.I think Rich would get Gervase,Sean,greg votes rather easily.He could get rudy's endorsement if either Kelly/Soozin are responsible for evicting Rudy.It's hard to know what Cooleen and Jenny would do with a Rich- soozin vote off. In regards to Richie the Rotund one,he would like to face soozin in the finals.Even if this meant losing Rudy's vote. As the one who brought you the first news of the Howard Stern spoiler, I would like to add that SEan was on Howard on thursday.I was too busy to catch the whole interview,but Sean did mention that his only remaining "strategy" was to sweep the remaining IM Challenges.In expounding on this,he pointed out the obvious; That Rudy,malnourished old man;Richard overly nourished middle-aged man; and Soozin overly nourished,chain-smoking, middle-aged woman;will not be at the Olympics in september.In other words, if he had beaten Kelly in the Im Challenge,--Whom he described as a "very athletic girl",he could have easily made the final showdown vote.Of course not all the Im challenges are mostly athletic ones,but he seemed to be implying that it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect Kelly to win the next 2 IM challenges.I hope so. Minorities would be talking about his low tolerance level. I find it hard to believe that Rudy is a winner by what Mark Burnett allowed to show on TV. I'm with you. I think Kelly (or Susan) won. I posted (on another board) a comment questioning why MB would have been ticked off if Gervase had won 3 straight ICs, since it would mean the demise of the evil Tagi Alliance. But ... now I think this story meant exactly what it said. Kelly wins 3 straight ICs and MB got ticked off, because instead of the uncharismatic river guide getting her torch snuffed, MB's star-to-be, the Rude Man, got the boot. By the way, I don't think that story means that Kelly couldn't win 4 straight ICs; it just means that MB didn't like it when Rudy left. Tell's Rudy that Sue's gone. Rich is still in control. Rudy's no threat in the next IC or the F2, so Sue's the one. My God, this has been TOO easy! 3) Sue is nervous. Doesn't trust Rich. Has to figure Rich has assured Rudy that they're voting her off. Knows Rudy has voted the way Rich has told him since the beginning. Two votes against me. "Me and Kelly are gonna take him down." "We're the only two girls left so we're gonna stick together till the end (scrub, scrub, zit pop)." "I ain't gonna burn her (sniffle, sniffle)!" Convince Kelly to vote Rich (won't be difficult) for the reasons Kelly already knows. Since Rudy is not a threat in the final IC, make a deal that it's an all grrrl final. If we stop here, it's a tie. But I don't think so. WARNING: PURE SPECULATION TO FOLLOW!! If I'm Sue, I go to Rudy. Carefully. Tell Rudy that Rich has told me (Sue) that he's (Rich) voting for him (Rudy). Rich has told me all along that the two of us (Rich, Sue) will be in the F2. (OK, not likely but she's fighting for her life here!) Paraphrasing Rudy (E12): "If someone's gonna betray me, I'll get even." Believing that he cannot trust Rich's pledge of loyalty, he "gets even" and Rich is gone. "Screw me? Screw YOU!" With Rich gone MB's got a more difficult job of creating and maintaining drama, tension, excitement, interest through to the end.   Top
