PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the

As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

81. "RE: Ryan" |
>A transcript of Ryan's exit interview: > > >“I’m disappointed I’m booted off because >I feel like I’m the >best performer among all of >these people. And the best >songwriting, and all that stuff, >so, I saw myself fronting >Supernova, I saw them being >a better band for it. >With me as their singer >they could have had, you >know, a 20-year career. Without >me, they won’t have 20 >years; they might have 2 >years. So, I said I’m >sorry for that, meaning, sorry >for you. And what I >wanted to say was that >I’ll see you on the >charts and I’ll be looking >down at you. *turns his >head downward like looking down >a list* > >“When Gilby Clark said I’m a >better performer now than when >I got here... unlike Jason, >he didn’t do his research, >because he’s never seen me >play live before this. And >if he did, he would >never say that, because wait >until he comes to my >first live show after this >and he’s gonna say “Oh, >I get it now." > >“What’s next for Ryan Star is, >I’m gonna go back to >New York City and pursue >my solo career. I’m going >to probably right away record >a live album and get >it out as soon as >possible. And just gonna get >out there and be bigger >than Supernova could ever imagine >being.” > > He's a little delusional. First off, whether he is the singer or someone else SuperNova will not be around for 20 years. The guys in the band are in the late 40's (?). SuperNova will not be around for more than 2 cds with him or with someone else. I am glad that he seemed to really want to be in this band. I do agree with his comments about Gilby....to a certain extent. They act like the first time the person ever performed was on this show, but SuperNova told Ryan he did not look like he was having fun and Ryan did take that advise. Ryan can not deny that if you watch his first couple performances and then watch his later ones that he changed. He let loose. In my opinion I think he needed to cap it a little. He should've known that he would be in a band....a band with seasoned veterans who by no way want to be upstaged by some young kid. The look on Gilby's face when Ryan climbed up on top of the speakers said it all. Ryan went a little too spaztic. All that being said Ryan should not of gone home before Storm. Next Tuesday's show will suffer for it. Ryan did go out a little cockier than he should've, but this is Rock N Roll and I have no problems with it.
