i just finally saw the episode where towanda has her "big performance." that was it? did i miss something? is this the dress rehearsal? and i really think it's sad that she went on stage looking like a clown in a wig w/ the unnatural makeup and hair. she knows how to look nice -- why mess that up SOOO much at an important moment for her?

I think it was some sort of dress rehearsal because sometimes they showed the cast of SO watching her and then they showed other people watching (and she was wearing a different outfit).
Also, it's common for stage performers to wear heavier makeup because of stage lights.

yeah, but why wouldnt' they show more of a real performance? it's just weird.
i get the concept of stage makeup, but that was awful. it didn't suit her at all.

Actually, that whole thing at The Viper Room was staged. The people in the audience were here family, HGs and producers and such who work on the show.
