I've always been curious what do they do when they are eliminated while the race is in progress, and if they still get any consolation prizes for being on the show.

LAST EDITED ON 02-25-07 AT 11:46 PM (EST)When BVM asked you guys is you were interested in TARAS (and when you were too stuupid to say "no"), who ended up taking the insurance physical for you guys? For old times sake... Wouldn't the dad and son (from the Family Edition... the ones who got eliminated in basically their home town of New Orleans) have made a better paid than the Festers? You remember the ones... son was driving, dad gave the wrong directions, and when they lost, dad said it was still son's fault?
(Edited to remove an OLD siggy from TARFE)

LAST EDITED ON 02-26-07 AT 01:36 AM (EST)Kevin mentioned that Drew was acting as he was because he was hurting and, since he "had to do all the driving" it was hurting his injured shoulder. Drew complained about having to do the driving, as well. I'm confused. Does each team have to designate one person who will drive throughout? Can't they switch off? And, if they can and driving was such an issue, why didn't Kevin take over as driver for a leg? If they can't switch off, why not? Insurance issues? And, how did Drew get selected to be designated driver to begin with? Was Drew in poor health even before the race? Is he in better health now? Was Drew's uncaring/pissy attitude simply due to how he was feeling at the time, or was his heart not in this at all (as it seemed to the viewers) from the start? If the latter, why did he agree to do it? Did they really think they were going to do better this time around, against previous racers, than in their first appearance? What made them think so? Would (either) he/they consider doing the race again and, if so, would he/they agree/want to do it together, or would he/they look for a different partner? Are they still friends, and, if so, did it take some time to reform that friendship after the race, or is Kevin just that forgiving? Otherwise, same as last time... Did they read any boards, if so, did anything they read affect their strategy? Who would they like to see win, who would they just as soon like to see go to sequesterville with them? Why? ETA: Another question for all eliminated ones (or, at least early stages elimination)... Given that they ended up in an early elimination... If they'd known in advance that this would be the case (or if something had prevented them from competing this time around), which team, out of the previous seasons unincluded teams, might they have chosen to give their spot on the show to had they been asked to choose? (TAR:FE contestants fair game, but must choose only 2 from a family to race as the team.) Similar, but a bit different... What previous season's unincluded team(s) do they think should/would have liked to have seen come back to race against? A Tribal Christmas blogging's scary
