LAST EDITED ON 10-28-02 AT 10:52 PM (EST)Hm. I wasn’t exactly on the ball today (last week, this came on TUESDAY)—and to make matters worse, there is NO PROFILE this time around! Urf. Overindulgence Haunts A Survivor Due to earlier personality conflicts, Robb was robbed of his chance at the million, leaving the tribes even at five members each. This week, questions of loyalty cause alliances to crack at Sook Jai while both teams wonder whether or not a merge will occur. Plus, one tribe member becomes the life of the party, but not without paying the price on SURVIVOR: THAILAND, Thursday, October 17, 8PM ET/PT. BTW—I copied/pasted this verbatim. That “October 17” is courtesy of SeeBS. (A lovely date, I must say. ) I assume the severe lack of info here is to continue fueling the mystery of what will happen/not happen with this week's merge (or no merge). PREVIOUS PROFILES: 9/17 Erin Collins 9/24 Jed Hildebrand 10/3 NO PROFILE! 10/7 Ted Rogers, Jr. 10/13 Stephanie Dill 10/22 Clay Jordan PREVIOUS BOOTS: 9/19 John Raymond 9/26 Tanya Vance 10/3 Jed Hildebrand 10/10 Ghandia Johnson 10/17 Stephanie Dill 10/24 Robb Zbacnik GT Dood—victim of cranial/rectal inversion. Duh. Edited cuz I was too lazy to look up the Dood's spelling. . .

This week, questions of loyalty cause alliances to crack at Sook Jai while both teams wonder whether or not a merge will occur. Plus, one tribe member becomes the life of the party, but not without paying the price on SURVIVOR: THAILAND, Thursday, October 17, 8PM ET/PT.First highlight: What alliances have we seen at Sook Jai? The dead three (Jed, Stephanie and Robb) always voted together (against Shii Ann), while the remaining five always voted together against the bootie du jur. There has been speculation about a Penny/Jake (darksider) alliance, Ken did try to bring Robb into things (presumably this would have resulted in Shii Ann being ousted but Robb never clued in and thus paid the price), while Shii Ann suggested last week in confessional that Erin and Penny would never trust her (notably, she didn't mention Ken, Jake or even Robb). (While over at Chuay Gahn the only alliance that has been confirmed it the Brian/Ted partnership, though nominally Clay is considering himself in an alliance of sorts with B&T, whereas Jan and Helen seem to be at odds though gender issues may have them buddying up). My take on the alliances at SJ statement is that this is about Ken and Shii Ann, which has been highlighted already. But have we really seen anything solid about any alliances at Sook Jai other than the remaining five always voting as a bloc? Second highlight: This undoubtedly refers to Brian singing at "the party" and getting drunk to the point of becoming ill, but I also think this suggests that Brian loses a key challenge (or his tribe if they still compete as tribes). PREVIOUS PROFILES: 9/17 Erin Collins (still in) 9/24 Jed Hildebrand 10/3 NO PROFILE! 10/7 Ted Rogers, Jr. (still in) 10/13 Stephanie Dill 10/22 Clay Jordan (still in) If this pattern continues, the next profile will not be of that week's bootie. I doubt if this pattern will continue throughout but one more "this week's bootie" must be profiled or there needs to be one more skipped week). Remaining unprofiled players in the game: 7 (Brian, Helen, Jan, Jake, Ken, Penny, Shii Ann). Remaining episodes: 7 (not counting recap or live reunion). "If all machines were to be annihilated at one moment, so that not a knife nor lever nor rag of clothing nor anything whatsoever were left to man but his bare body alone that he was born with, and if all knowledge of mechanical laws were taken from him so that he could make no more machines, and all machine-made food destroyed so that the race of man should be left as it were naked upon a desert island, we should become extinct in six weeks." (Samuel Butler, "Erewhon")
