I was flipping thru channels a minute ago and stopped on VH1. Guess who I saw? Miss Karrine telling her story...again. She was on VH1 News Presents: Sexploitation in Rap Music Videos. She sure was telling it like it is, explaining what she did for money, and what she's doing now. It was pretty interesting in that I was under the assumption that she worked in a strip club first then was in videos. If you watch it you'd be surprised to learn the lengths she went to for money and what her "nickname" was around the video circuit. Everyone called her "superhead"; it even shows a picture of her wearing a shirt with the "nickname" on it...talk about low!!!!!

Once, Karrine discussed how much more gratifying it is to be able to tell her son that she's a writer, and does something honorable for a living, instead of having to be ashamed that her son will ask her about her job and she'll have to tell him that she earns her money in the sex industry. Later, she and Christina met to discuss the possibility of Christina's working as some type of assistant to Karrine, but only if Christina cleans up her act. I think this might have been right after it was discovered that Christina was showing her housemates the photos of her on the escort websites, and Iyanla wanted to suggest to Christina that a lack of integrity has its consequences. One of the consequences, I guess, is that former sex-industry workers who are now making their money talking about where and with whom they had sex won't hire you if your photo is on a sex-related website.

She was on SO as a mentor to Christina. She talked to her about changing her life around and being a woman of honor. I know, its hard not to laugh out loud but that is the kind of thing Christina needs...these women with morals around her! LOL
