"NE/Elimination LEG Count x2"
Alright at the first Episode phil said there will 8 elimination legs, therefore a total of 3 N-Elimination Legs.

Episode 1 - Elimination
Episode 2 - Elimination
Episode 3 - TBC
Episode 4 - Elimination
Episode 5 - Elimination/Yield

Now there are a total of 7 Episodes left

Now its up to figure out where the FF, NE and Y come in at.

My Prediction is probably this
Ep1 - Elimination(11)
Ep2 - Elimination (10)
Ep3 - TBC(9)
Ep4 - Elimination(9)
Ep5 - Elimination/Yield(8)
Ep6 - N/E (7)
Ep7 - Elimination (7)
Ep8 - N/E/FF (6)
Ep9 - Elimination (6)
Ep10 - Elimination/Yield (5)
Ep11 - Elimination (4)
Ep12 - N/E (3)
Ep13 - 1 Million Dollars

I was very surprised that last night's ep was not a non-elimination. It would have to be soon, although I seem to remember that the last 2 are usually back to back.

I could've sworn it was a NEL last night...the leg having a yield and all.

If I understand your prediction, you're saying theres a non-elim with 3 teams left? That doesn't make much sense to me.

LAST EDITED ON 03-29-06 AT 09:06 PM (EST)

They've done that a number of times, most recently TAR 7 where Uchenna and Joyce got the Phil-mugging in Jamaica.

Better than I deserve.

I've read they tend to clump the Non-Elim legs toward the end of the show because they want to get the number of teams down to something managable for production reasons fairly quickly. If they NELed too early they wouldn't get the number of racers down fast enough.

Certainly last season (TARFE) they had a lot of NEL's near the end of the game, but I think that it backfired on them. (See my post in "Why I think this season is Awesome"). All those legs with the Godlewski sisters and the Weavers made me want to stab my eyes out. Maybe they learned a lesson: When the last four teams are annoying, and you have to watch only them for what feels like forever, it gives viewers a bad impression. (See TAR4: Millie and Chuck and Dave and Jeff and Reichen and Chip - all more bland than toast).
