Her leggings match her hair.
Paula. Allison I've championed Adam since day one but you possess the same special sauce he does. You don't compromise your authenticity, remarkable talented young lady.
Simon. I think it was barbecue sauce, hot, spicy, whatever. You are the girls only hope left in this competition. You are getting stronger and more confident. A tough song to sing and you sang it well. I think you believe you have a chance at winning and we could see you all the way to the end.

I do wish I'd missed this thing. She put too much power into it: hoped raw strength would substitute for skill and tried to deadlift every note. The most professional part of the performance was her stage walk.
Oh -- and at this point, I'm convinced the wardrobe department is doing this on purpose.

Randy. when I heard this was what he was singing, it is a huge song. you have found your zone and you are rocking the house, it was in tune with some emotion. really good job.
Kara. You found a place, adding soul to pop songs. I thought it was one of his best. When you made those changes in the melody it worked and I felt connected to you singing.

Randy. That was interesting. Started out kind of cool, then you hit the bridge, but the thing for me for you, is you can really sing, but you can't do all that stuff with a song with simple melody. you fell down with that.

Suggest you go back and listen to it again. If you don't know the song...you may not get it. I listened to it again and it was even better than I thought. Kris is not getting enough AI love because they want an Adam/Allison/Danny F3. Kris is going to creep in there in a quiet way, like Elliot did in season 5.

This is one of them. I love this song and actually am suprised that people do not know this and Kara called it obscure.
It's from the movie "Once" and it won the Oscar about 2 years ago. One of the few times the Oscar correctly went to a song from a movie where it was vital to the plot and moved the story along. Beautiful song.
It was in heavy radio rotation back then as well.
His performance of it was pretty good. Not as haunting as the original. He should have played his guitar with it.
