Has singers at the piano.Wow, he turned it into a slow ballad to start off. Then it speeds up, thank Cod. (is it bad I'm almost wishing for the singing fish during the commercials?) Paula. I think you pleased both Simon and I, bring something different. The singers brought life, nice choices. When you feel it the audience feels it, too. Simon. How much more can you take line. BOOOO! It wasn't a great version. Honky Tonk Piano, didn't sound right, backing singers a mess. Completely the wrong song. A bit cheap and I think you are better than that. Each week it is the wrong song. Not standing out, I've heard that a million billion times. Randy. I'm kind of agreeing. A hotel performance. Everyone turning up the knob, you are a better singer than that. Nothing great happened. Paula can't shut up. Kara. You brought tempo, I wasn't crazy about the liberties with the melody and you have to nail it, the execution wasn't perfect. You have some rhythm, I like that.

He could definitely do better, and was kind of predictable here, even with the piano and backgrounds drowning out his voice a bit. Still, it had some good swing, and he should be safe for this (just this) week. I liked this performance better than the previous one in the army garb.

Why is she on the catwalk behind the judges? More corkscrew dancing. Is she barefoot? Randy. I got mad love for you, like the outfit, dude that song was a trainwreck. You hit bad notes the phrasing, the song took you over, it dominated you. That is the Megan I am used to. Paula. You are stunning beauty, the camera loves you. I have to agree this was not the right song. Very confusing with pitch and not comfortable. Simon. Good news you look good. The bad news it is horrible. Fire whoever is advising you. Vocals all over the place, you could be in trouble after that.

Starting to get a bit better. Not sure if that falsetto is quite right. Kara. Has to be one of the most beautiful songs and hardest to sing. Goes from your chest to head, but some you didn't hit. You did a pretty good job. You can sing, you have a skill set. I want you to push it more and be a bit more creative. Paula. I can't imagine singing with legends in the audience. I think you have a new found confidence, your phrasing and your falsetto was spot on, tender and sweet. Simon. It was a great vocal, I think you looked like you were half asleep. It was a little like someone singing inside a musical. You have to find that balance. It's showmanship. Randy. I think what I would do, you used the serious Anoop, give me that energy with the vocals. It was nice to hear you swoon, a little pitchy, bring the party on.

Honestly, I don't feel, this is hard, you need to be dominating that song not let the reverse happen, some of the notes you weren't always reaching. Simon. It was actually I couldn't wait for it to end. You were screaming and shouting the song. You are taking part and have no chance of winning it. It is a reality and there is no point screaming and hoping it is good enough. Find what is going to suit you but that was below par. I always think you are sincere and not playing games it is meant to help you. Randy. It is an unbelievable song, just too big for you. You have some R&B Chops, but you don't have enough. Did too much with it, too many runs. Kara. TI is not about singing, it is about artistry, someone that interprets it, in the future you gotta bring that, who are you as an artist, what can you do that is different.

You could have had a moment tonight with something like I heard it through the Grapevine. You are one of the best singers. I am dying for you to do what you did a few weeks ago. You can't do that with a song like this.

She didn't play to her strengths in this performance, rushing through the lyrics without hardly a moment to catch her breath. Still, she's got rhythm, she's got style, she's got a voice, she just needed a different kind of song with at least a few moments of pauses to shine.

Acoustic guitar an bass with a guy doing percussion on the box he is sitting on.Man can he hit those high notes. Smokey gives a standing ovation. Kara doesn't stand up a lot, but she has got to stand up for that. One of the best performances of the night. Showed artistry. Paula. Someone like you comes along that is in his own league and you have that instinct to have that element of surprise. Liked the clean look, very handsome and classy. Hmmmm... I still don't know what to think of this guy, or even tonight's performance. Definitely original and on theme, insanely crafted tonal voice with the falsetto notes especially. Sorry, Lambert Lovers, I HATED that. It was like nails on a chalkboard for me. The falsetto was insanely irritating for some reason. He looked alright, though, I'll give him that. But could the judges kiss butt any more????I have the same feelings for him that I had for David Cook last year, which weren't warm and fuzzy. And the person I don't like always wins, so there ya go. Oh, my six degrees of separation from Adam - my husband is in a band, and his bass player was in a band a long time ago with a guy named Monte Pittman, who was/is in a band with Adam. Crap, I forgot the name of it already. Shows how much I care! I think it's a pun or something. Dangit. I'm sure someone knows it, and I don't feel like looking it up.
