I liked you it is like everyone went into a time machine. It didn't work at all, your worst performance. Randy. You being 17, this is the time to show them you are young, you tried to do more than was really there, not the right song. Kara. You were like a beam of sunshine, young, vivacious. Cute as a button is a compliment. Tonight it was dark and depressing and that isn't who you are. Be young, touch people. Too serious, gloomy. Paula, won't go as far as that, some bright moments. The song was old fashioned and like you changed melodies, sometimes it is better to stick to the melody.

I thought that was a bold choice that made you relevant. Here is the thing, this song was more the Boy George version of this song and took the coolness factor away. You are starting to believe in yourself. I think there are better singers. Let these people be who they are! If they svck, tell them so! Don't put them through with a sympathy vote, already!At least on TAR, Luke has to keep up with the crowd, or he's out of the game with Mommy. And maybe, once we get to the vote, Scott will have to hold his own, too. Personally, I felt bad for the dude-the vocals were off, and he looked horribly uncomfortable on stage. Just saying......

Sure, she hit the notes at the beginning of the note, but then she'd bend them moving into the next note, as if (in guitar lingo) more of a slide than an arpeggio.

You may be right, but, according to my equalizer, she hit 1khz and then 2khz in less than 2 seconds, very fluidly with almost no staccato. She gets my vote for top 3 this week, along with Von Smith and Lil Rounds.

Started out pretty crisp then she began crossing the keys on the notes. Half and quarter note bends are for guitars, not (most) vocalists. Still, she was appealing to watch on stage, more so than many others we've seen tonight.

I am so proud of you, you took our advice, got a dialect coach. You worked so hard and you sound so good. I just want to squee. Simon. I think we were wrong to say you shouldn't sing with an accent, I think you should be who you are you are a very good singer. I like that you sound a bit different. Randy. Accent or not. Dialect it is the vocal that matters. It wasn't perfect but it was really really good. Hollywood week was rough and you vindicated yourself. Kara. You were born to sing. That is your thing, your gig. It comes from right here to us. You have that gift of touching people it comes from your heart. Did I get the wrong feed?

I'm convinced that Lil Rounds is the contestant i'm NOT going to like this season. Let me try to explain, and i would like your responses.Everyone in teh world has an ego. Egos are fine...UNTIL they are thrown in your face. Lil Rounds is a good singer, and she knows it, and she insists on letting you know that she is a good singer. If she would have just gone out there and sang the damn song, i may have felt differnetly, but when she goes and thows in "If you can't be without me, call the number" or whatever she said....immediately turned me off. I got the same vibe from Syesha last year, and also Jordin, Paris Bennet, and even Chris Daughtry to a degree. I'm not saying she's not talented, all I'm saying is it is a definate turn off when the ego makes you flaunt it.
Agree? Disagree? Please let me know.
