nsynclover 26 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Beauty Pageant Celebrity Judge" 08-16-00, 06:15 PM (EST) "The tie vote" Hi. This is what might Happen if there is a tie vote. It might happen this week. 1. Someone wins immunity and there is a 2-2 vote and they keep on revoting. Next week in the final 4. (first TC of the night) 2.Someone wins immunity. You have 3 to vote for. there is a vote the goes 1-1-1. Sorry that won't work I forgot the person w/ immunity gets to vote. it might go 3-1 or 2-1-1 Final 3. It can't happen cause someone has immunity and there is 2 to vote for and someone will go. 2-1 final 2. It can't happen. there are 7 people to vote for and obviously there will be 2 people and no one will have immunity. So obviosly <H1><FONT COLOR="BLUE"> THE TIE VOTE WILL HAPPEN TONITE!!!</H1></FONT COLOR="BLUE">   Top

There are two tie vote possiblities, though: tonight, a 2-2-1, and first vote next week, a 2-2. If Sean goes tonight, I think we're all envisioning a "men-vs-women" tie vote next week. But then, supposedly they just keep revoting until someone changes his/her vote. Who would break first? Who knows? If the vote is tonight, though, the procedure is to narrow down the choices for the next vote to just the two people who are tied. So, there could only be two rounds of voting, since the person who cast the "1" vote would have to vote for one of the other two candidates.   Top

I hadn't thought of a tie being possible tonight with 5 people. I read in a Mark Burnett interview that in the final 3 they have an immunity challenge, and whoever wins the immunity challenge gets to pick the other survivor to be in the final 2.   Top

"TAG your it AK (now I am following u in posts)" the was a speculation of a tie vote take up to 45 mintues to resolve. Aslo there was a specualtion that there are no ties,MB/Jeffy on Larry King (I think), then there was a report by gretchen (i think)about different resolutions to the tie vote. Then there was a report by GERV that a tie does accure. Also there was a speuclation that there was a tie last week COOLEEN, "since i can't vote for my self" and "see you next week on the Jury" by both sean & colleen OK, If we believe there is a TIE and It takes 40 mintues to resolve. AK is right that it will most like happen next week in a 2-2 rather than this week in a 2-2-1. Tonight only the one has to vote for a tie person to be booted. Next week scenerio, someone in a revote someone has to totally change their vote to the other person. example tie vote 2-2 rich votes sean rudy votes sean sean votes rich kelly/susan votes rich they all revote for either rich or sean inthis scenerio. It could be deadlocked until someone decides to Break it and flip their vote to a 3-1 BA   Top
