"Speculation re. title of Episode 6" |
On Surviiivor.com, someone has posted that the title of episode 6 has been confirmed as "The Underdogs."Can anyone here confirm this? If this is true, it throws a real wrench in the mix, as it implies that the underdogs (i.e. Gina) do not get the boot, and that, in my opinion, there is a twist that somehow gives her/them new life. Perhaps in Episode 4 (the winds twist) there is a random reshuffling a la wheel of fortune, putting Gina on one team with the misfit Rotus allowing a building of new alliances. Or, it could mean that "the underdogs" -- i.e. the Maaramu as they are down 3 and potentially 4 after tonight, end up in a place of power. Argh! I have to say that the spoiling information we are getting this season is so all over the place, it's almost impossible to come up with a theory that logically incorporates it all.

The title "The Underdogs" in no way implies that the underdogs are all of a sudden safe. It could mean just the opposite that they are indeed the ones that are in danger. In fact, "Nacho Mama" was the episode where Mama got the boot, so I do not think that we can assume that because the title of the episode is "The Underdogs" that people like Gina are safe. To me, that is a serious stretch, especially with nothing else to base this on.
