Industry articles say most artists/acts do not sell more than 500,000 albums. All of the idol winners have done that; as well as 5 other idol contestants: Josh G, Clay A., Bo B.; Chris D.; and Kellie P. And by looking at Jordin's My Idol message board number she does not appear to be generating as much interest at Katherine McPhee did last year--and Kat has sold only 305,000 albums to date.   Top

I'm realizing that I like Blake too much to saddle him with an Idol contract. They seem to have totally squelched his beatboxing, which is how he came to my attention in the first place. It's who he is inside. Melinda seems more natural for the kind of music they want Idols to put out. So I suppose I should root for Blake to get kicked early, and be this year's Daughtry. So there. 1.
