YES IT IS, TOO!! version of American Idol on this thread until after it finishes airing on the West Coast. We will hear our idols sing inspirational songs of hope and compassion to lull us into voting for a reported 4 hours with two phone lines per idol, for the kids. NO REALLY IT IS FOR THE KIDS!!!!!! They are going to break a darn voting record this season if it kills them or bankrupts the sponsors. Whatever it takes. Will the Worster's save Phil? Will Lakisha's eyes finally show some life? Who will sing wearing a pony-hawk? Will Harry's Horrible Hat Emporium finally turn a profit this year? Will Blake ever wear something that isn't plaid? These questions and more will be answered over the next two days while America Idol does it ALL FOR THE KIDS!!!! You know I really do like this song *ducks*I like Blakes' falsetto on the high notes too, but I'm biased. Randy Great choice of song, amazing song. on the performance side it was just kinda alright , just ok wanted you to do more with it Paula I was thinking that at the beginning but I remembered how simple the song was and it is the first sensitive song we've had from you Simon You've chosen one of the big songs of all time, and you can't belt it out. I have mostly been lurking this season, not much enthusiasm for any of the singers before this, but interested in reading varied comments from all of you. Tonight I finally felt moved to post. I was moved by Jordin and Phil. Melinda was professional, but she didn't move me. Chris moved me in the other direction. I have never liked 'Imagine' and couldn't see past the lyrics to the singer. Lakisha didn't bring it.
It should be Chris, Lakisha and Blake on the bottom three, but likely Chris will continue to be saved by his teddy bear appeal. He just always looks fuzzy, as if he were made of velour.

"looks like all the pimping of Jordin worked. now why does that bother me? "Because we have been watching the blatant agenda at work, that's why! It makes it hard for me to be completely objective about her because I know she is their Chosen One and has been for many, many weeks, and who knows, maybe before we even had the Hollywood rounds. (she was on Idol Juniors...maybe this agenda has been at work even longer lol) Interview comments, judging comments, pimp spots, so many things point to her being pimped. It's working--and right on schedule. A friend who sporadically watches the show told me she voted for Jordan last night because she was the best. Do people really think she is the best or is it because the judges LEAD their thinking?
I just relistened to her song and there is no way that was the best song of any contestant on any show ever...blah, blah, blah....talk about an agenda!
P.S. Note the curly hair...didn't Randy say the winner would have curly hair many weeks ago? Here we go...
