Giant Gumball was on this morning interviewing Jon Frankel who was there in Marquesas for the first IC.Some things to note:
~ IC is what we've all seen in the pictures, they have to carry outrigger canoes.
~ these outrigger canoes are 500 pounds each, weighted down by lead underneath -- after some paddling and carrying it for a while, the survivors will be exhausted and that's where teamwork will really come into play.
~ they carry the canoes out into the water, go over to light a torch in the water, bring it back in and go along the beach to light a series of torches over about 200 yards.
~ it's not your typical "sandy beach"... it's mostly small rocks along the beach, so if one person decided to show up without shoes or sandals, this will really hurt the team. Watch for this as a potential source of conflict to impact future episodes.
~ Jiffy said they're out to challenge the contestants with their ICs -- we've seen that here by them adding lead to the bottom of the canoes.
Hmmm... if they're all aware of the demanding physical needs of such an IC, you think they would go ahead and boot a man in tonight's episode (i.e. Peter) and to heck with future physical events? Peter must really piss off his tribe to get booted so early if we're all on the right track on the vote thread.
