mhb0125 485 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Daytime Soap Guest Star" 10-29-05, 01:16 AM (EST) "Next week!!!" I can't wait to watch SO next week. If you saw the previews for the upcoming shows then you know it's going to be an explosive week. For instance, what did Christina lie about to Iyanla? Was it the fact that she did tell the john the address to the SO house or about what she said her dad said (you'll end up a hooker)? I'm dying to find out!! And what did Lisa do to tick off Rhonda so bad? I am so sick of Lisa. Her comments about hookers and prostitutes had me seething. I hope Christina or someone says something. If I was Christina I would talk with Iyanla and call an emergency meeting with all of the housemates (how Tess did last season about her fork throwing incident) and speak with all of them about how the comments and degredations (sp) hurt her. I hope Lisa does have to leave because I really don't think SO will help her. If she doesn't want to take money from her parents anymore and get a job and make a living for herself, how is she going to do that when she leaves? She says she's going to sell her condo and give the money to her parents, then where will she live? With no real experience how is she going to get a good job and support herself. If SO does help her and she's determined to stop living off her parents then I'm sure she'll just find a rich man to take care of her.   Top

Iyanla is more or less yelling at Christina saying she (c)lied to her and that IV won't let it happen again. Rhonda is SO ticked at Lisa and threatens to make her leave the house. Jill gets some news about her health and it shows her getting sick, hyperventalating or something and everyone saying they feel sorry for her because it would be hard to handle or go through. I can't wait to watch. SO is my favorite show. My husband doesn't understand why I watch but the show really helps me. I had a really traumatic thing happen to me and I'm still getting thru it. He just doesn't understand!! Be sure to tune in though and post some more!!!!   Top

Other than simply having low iron, which could be corrected with iron pills, what other conditions would cause it?   Top

Hi, I am not a Doctor or a Nurse by all means but I am thinking she may have Sicle cell anemia. (sp) My daughter was going thru cancer treatments last year and the Hemotology was shared with the Oncology clinic and I was told that Sicle cell anemia is very important matter. I hope she does not have that because I do like her.   Top

You know, the anemia may just be a result of her new Jenny Craig diet. She had been "adjusting it". It could also be, like one of the other posters stated Sickle Cell Anemia, which occurs at higher rate of incidence for African Americans. At the other end of the spectrum is Chronic Renal Disease (I'm not sure if she's hypertensive or diabetic, etc.) and then there are the diseases that suppress/or cause abnormal function of bone marrow. My thoughts----> Her diet. *btw....No wonder she was huffing and puffing so much carrying those bags around. She wasn't getting enough oxygen, due to the decreased red blood cells!! I feel really bad for her, that must have been miserable! wow.....   Top

I also remember Jill saying that she has a tumor that is pressing on one of her major veins or arteries in her lower abdominal cavitiy....There could be a slow leaking of blood into that tumor or from that major vein or artery. She said that is why she has a lot of swelling in her legs. That might just might be what is going on. Just a thought....   Top

I totally agree; I can think of a million times where I was sooo excited by a preview and totally like "oh man, that was it?" later. BUUUT!! I have to say, I still totally fell to it for what's next week. Even if all it was is Ctina subconciously fibs to IV, Lisa puts her foot in her mouth and a whack on the wrist, and that Jill ONLY has anemia -- that's still enough to get me excited!! because, something in my gut's telling me it actually bigger than all of that--and Lord have mercy let it be that Lisa goes HOME! Embrace your uniqueness; time is much too short to be living someone else's life.   Top

LAST EDITED ON 10-31-05 AT 02:30 PM (EST) Based on past experience I'm actually a bit of an "expert" here, as I "suffered (I'll explain the quotes)" from anemia too. When you're overweight your periods tend to be heavier and more frequent, which causes iron loss; couple that with a sudden drop in calories, and you lose more iron (which is why it's a good idea to see a Dr. before, I guess!) You keep getting your periods, you keep dieting, and the next thing you know you're anemic. So for Jill, I hope that's all it is (she's 40, right? Prolly not in menopause yet). I say "suffer" though, because iron vitamins usually solves it. Unless Jill does have a more complex condition. My real point, is that I hope they're not once again making a big dramatic deal out of nothing. And I do hope Jill's okay.   Top

After the show today, I started thinking maybe Christina came to the SO house for the wrong reasons. I'm wondering if maybe her ex husband and his wife are trying to take her son from her!! I know in Texas it wouldn't be hard to do with the things that Christina has been doing. I've been on Medical Leave for the last 6 weeks (from the "Girl" surgery), and I have to go back to my 7-4pm job on Friday!!! I've been watching this show every day, and really have totally sunk my teeth into it...and now I can't continue. My new husband tells me he doesn't know how to tape on our VCR.   Top

Christina could have that alterior motive about her son and her ex. It seems more believable, too, because the ex's new honey wants the kid to call her mommy-I would tell that b#$%@ NO WAY! My daughter doesn't call anybody mommy but me! But, you have to think Christina isn't stripping, escorting, or hustling anymore and her ex doesn't even have a job so how would he support the kid and his wife?   Top
