I think that this reward, combined with the one with Ethan and the one with Tom, would give Lex enough of an 'experience' to get the Survivor tattoo, even if he did get the boot tonight. While he comes across as an a-hole a lot, I think that's his 'game-face'. He seems like he's probably a decent enough guy in real life (no saint or anything, but not as bad as he's come across at times this season). And I wonder if Ethan's comments means he might lean towards a Lex bood (Tom might, too) if Lex doesn't win IC.   Top

A betrayed Kelly, former Samburus Frank/KimP/Teresa, and Brandon who may or may not still support Lex after spending time in camp with the other bootees. IMO, Tom goes to the jury next and he will no doubt feel that Lex went against him with the "Tom told me not to trust you" comment by T-bird. If Lex makes it to the final two, a snowball has a better shot in hell than Lex winning the jury vote. "The Car With the Gas in it runs the best" Quick thought from this shameless Left Coast viewer with no will power... On Lex winning and winning like the Energizer Bunny: The Rewards are so double-edged. People resent you, BUT you get that good food. It seems like once one of the top competitors, in this case Lex, last season Colby, gets a good dose of nutrition from the rewards, they get the fuel to keep winning. I voted wrongly for Ethan to win this IC. I think he would have won with his natural talents--all food being equal, but he has been stuck with mush and is getting weak. And it's not just the food, but the bed, shower, reinjection of energy and purpose that comes from getting out of camp. All of the above helps keep the brain sharp too--so the same person can ace the mental challenges. Thus in all 3 Survivors we have seen a HUGE challenge run... Of course, only those in top form to start can take the challenge advantage and run with it... I KNEW this was a factor but I still HOPED Tbird would win SOMETHING in the way of a parting gift. Optimism about fair distribution=Sucky points in Spoiling Safari!   Top
