OK, I think it’s fair to say that most all of us are having a terrible time guessing the “Bootees”. As I wrote in my Popularity List entry, my picking record for the last four or five people leaves me feeling like Brandon with the flaming arrows. I’m shooting myself in the foot. Kelly last week? Brandon this week? I didn’t have a clue.

So I will run a new contest for people like me, starting this week, through to the end. Instead of picking the next Bootee, I want you to pick people that will definitely NOT be voted off next week.

The rules:

1) List 3 Mojo Jojo’s that you’re certain will NOT be voted off next week. If you are right, you have “survived” until next week.

2) All the people that “survive” this week’s picks play again next week, continuing until either the show ends, or everybody has messed up. Whoever is the last one (or ones) standing at the end WINS (nothing)!!! OK, OK, I’ll buy the winner lunch, but you’ll have to come to NYC to get it, and there will be NO viewing of “Out Of Africa”.

3) I’ll put out a list of our “Survivors” after each episode, but

4) In order to not exclude people from making embarrassing picks week after week, feel free to post even if you are knocked out of the competition. We’re not snobs.

5) As the Mojo Jojo tribe shrinks, the number of picks you will be making will drop as well, but it’s 3 for this week and next.

6) As a tiebreaker (otherwise I could go broke), I will count all the “votes against” that your “Safe People” accumulate over the coming weeks.

7) I will make all my picks by Thursday morning (say noon EST) each week.
