Who here doesn't think she's one of the best darn summary writers around? Who here hasn't wished at one time that they could have her wit, her various titles or cool animated felines? Well, if you answered "me" to any of those things, you're in the wrong thread baby! This is a huge Wooooohooooo and standing O for dangerkitty, who, when she hits the nip, can cause anybody with a stick up their ass to easily and swiftly dislodge it. I love this kitten! She's my hero! She gave up the corporate rat race to follow her heart. I was willing to die in Blowsvivor in order to keep her alive! Le Purr. Le Rowrr. Le Pant. Seriously... yes she's a riot to read or mingle with in the bar, she has a wit that's as razor-sharp as her claws and I always look forward to a post made by her because it's usually good for a real laugh. Picture captions and dialogues, incorporating song titles into an episode summary, subtle one-liner jabs... her talent knows no bounds on here. There were a lot of truly great summaries written by different people for S3, but I think her "Good, Bad and Butt Ugly" summary for (I think, episode 3 or 4) was probably the best of them all. I can honestly say, in her summary, DK had me in hysterics with several Silas-aimed zings, including... Silas (confessional): If there was ever a Tribal Council and there was a tie and I had votes, then…umm, let’s see carry the two, divide by,ummm….well, more is bad. Silas: Jeff, Lindsey was a raving idiot the first night, Jeff, but after that it was fine, Jeff, and now we are all a big happy family, Jeff. <ping> This game has never been fair, Jeff. Jeff, whoever said this game was fair? And my absolute favorite.... there is some entertainment value as we watch Silas try to figure out how to get his ballot into the box (think about that if you’ve been wondering what he’s like in bed, ladies). (AACCKKK!!! Et tu, Brute/DK??? LOL!!) ... and of course, the well-used, infamous SAC!!!! Oh, hon, you had me just about peeing with laughter over every single shot fired!!! Aside from being side-splittingly funny, sharp and intelligent, she's got one of the biggest hearts in the world! She has been so incredibly good to me, I just don't even know how to thank her! Supportive, kind, it's no wonder I always call her my DK Doll, because that's what this lady is, a total absolute doll!!! This was going to be about the third Standing O I started way back when, but I was worried DK might be uncomfortable about it, so I held off. So I'm really happy to get to give her a proper Standing O now! As I recall, DK and Roni were the first two people I met in the Bar lo these many moons ago. What a way to be welcomed in! And it's only gotten better from there. From making kitty porn in the bar with her and IceCat in the hot tub to flirting with her hubby on AIM while she laughed her ass off behind him, DK has never failed to put a smile on my face. But I'm actually gonna step aside from the personal for this standing O to recognize DK's amazing talent. Having now subjected myself to writing a couple episode summaries, I can tell you it's not as easy as it looks. But DK makes it look absolutely effortless. And her summaries, for me, were by far the best thing about Survivor 3. I was talking in the Bar with a few people recently about episode summaries for Survivor 4, and while we all thought that individually, most of the summaries were terrific, the one thing we missed was continuity. And considering that, I'd love to see DK tackle all of S4 if she has time. Her summaries were the most seriously laugh-out-loud funny, hands down. While I miss her in the Bar and here on OT (and respect her reasons for absenting herself), I hope to be able to see lots of her in summaries this coming season. For DK, my applause might be a little quieter, but it's only because I'm laughing so hard that my hands sometimes miss each other. Obviously, she is amazingly talented ... as others have already said, she writes an awesome summary. I look forward to her S4 summary. She is also a Basher Babe. In fact, wasn't she crowned Queen of the BBB? So clever, so witty, and so NICE! I ALWAYS enjoy her posts! I know that most people will mention DK's bashing and summary writing talents. But she is also very insightful when it comes to spoiling. She doesn't post much on Spoilers, but what she does post is well worth reading. DK is also a very sensitive and supportive person. She has reached out to me, via email, more than once after reading one of my posts -- just to check on me. She is a true friend.   Top

It's just that you accidentally multiplied my own anguish, and now I feel obligated to return the dubious favor. . . hehehe Besides, MIS had the presence of mind to point out your NICENESS, which I also think stands out. It's just unfortunate that the word leads me on a digression to the Andy Griffith episode where they have to find a date for Thelma Lou's cousin, or Thelma Lou and Helen won't go to the dance--and her cousin is the homely handyman from Green Acres, remember? They talk Mary Grace and Gomer into the blind date by telling them that the other is "nice--really nice" and after the usual misunderstandings, Gomer DOES declare the gawky, troll-faced girl "REALLY naaahce!" Of course, we all know that "nice" is the only relevant part of the story here, because you are anything BUT the kind of girl who would have to date Gomer--but what would this be without one of my famous forays into Off-the-Wallville? DK--with wit as sharp as her claws, and undeniable niceness (not just the kind you get when you open a can of Friskies!)--I am so glad our paths crossed! GT (and slurpee is right--that whole hot tub scene was perhaps the most disturbingly erotic thing I've been a party to. . . whoooo! *fans herself in an attempt to simmer down*)   Top

We can be the only ones who think the "unpopular" opinion, but she doesn't mind backing me up. She supports me, even when I am wrong and I love that about her. She had a really cool signature picture and I commented on it. She said thanks and aren't they all FUN? That's the picture I have of DK. Laughing, positive, sweet, the kind of person that says, "come on in. We're glad you're here. Having you here will add to the fun." What a wonderful quality to have. People are drawn to DK. She even "types" with an enthusiasm and a smile in her words. And don't even get me started on her summaries! Talk about peeing your pants and spitting tea! All the praise you get DK is very well deserved. You are one of the greats of Survivor Blows. I tip my hat and raise my glass to you. Well, I had a blast turning her doppleganger in BV into sillykitty, and I have to thank her for the inspiration. Honestly, I mean it, that gag wasn't originally going to be as extreme as I made it but then one night she got sauced up and posted some jibberish that amounted to saying she was sauced up and leaving for the islands and how gosh-all popular she was in high school. She was also the only writer/player of BV who booted her own doppleganger, and I really admired that. That's all really a long way of getting around to saying she's a gutsy babe, real to the core, and a good sport. She took her name from a credit card commercial though and that's always been an unfathomable absurdity in my view, there's nothing plastic or phoney about DK. Well, she's the goddess of words for crying out loud! That said, Dangerkitty has my favorite screenname, I do believe. I too had seen that credit card commercial, and I too had thought, "damn, that would be a very cool online personna." Of course, she had the idea first, and, in fact, I had no use for a screen name at the time, and it really suits her better anyway. So, yeah, I love the screen name. But in all seriousness, Dangerkitty is spectacular. I was told by some people when I first joined the boards that I should really pay attention to her posts when she came back from her trip to Hawaii because they thought I would really like her, and wow did I! Dangerkitty is loads of fun, very witty, kind, thoughtful, brilliant, and a true goddess of words. What more can I say? So, a giant, jumping up and down, screaming standing O for you, DK. Thanks for making the overall SB experience a truly addictive one (because you know it's your fault! ) Oh, and if you need to kick my partner's ass, you have my permission--just let me know if you need any help.
