"RE: Taylor Hicks" I'm agreeing with most of all the responses about last night's performances up to this point on Weds., I did though really enjoy Taylor's version of Country Roads. My enjoyment though had little to do with it as an AI performance...it was something totally different...I honestly panicked when I heard he was doing this song...it was the song that was played at my father's funeral...the JD version, and oh how I cringe when I hear the song now...fairly understandable I'd assume. Hearing Taylor sing it in his own way put a completely different spin on it for me...for that, I thank him forever...I was able to really enjoy the song without the history I had attached to it. I voted for Taylor. I don't care what the judges said. Nevermind this DAW has him at the top of my list anyway. Can we please get rid of Paris Bennett soon? Ugh. And...GAG at the "Desperate Housewives" reference...obvious much?   Top
