a summary of Silas's chat from Survivorfever.net. Keep in
mind, it's not the official transcript, just one person's
summary of it. If he was telling the truth, there could be
some good stuff here. Interesting points I pick out on first glance: *Didn't get to know Tom all that well.
*Lex is the only one he does not keep in touch with.
When asked why, he answers, after a long pause, that
they just never hit it off (!)
*He has a hairy butt.

and you had Frank and T with you , did you know your time
was up - "most definitely, I knew my time had come, he
nailed it on the head and that was the beg. of the end"
What was your first reaction upon learning that you were
to join Boron: "It was over, I knew Clarence or I would
be the first to go, a sobering feeling"
Did you expect the switch? "I had no idea that the switch
was coming, there was no way to plan or predict it" "I never played both sides. I formed an alliance with
the young people at the beginning and tried to tell T
so she would join our side"
I noticed you didn't have your bags with you when you
left...did you have to leave all your stuff behind:
"We had our belongings dropped off to us later that
night" Will you watch the rest of survivor hoping someone in
your tribe wins, now that you are out....."I'll be
watching every Thursday rooting for my tribe but it
definitely doesn't look good"
Did you really think that you would be able to talk
the others into voting Frank off...."I tried so hard
but it just didn't work out"
What did you do with the chickens and the rooster?
"The chickens and the rooster just sat at camp making
noise and kept others up all night"
What did you think when the rest of the tribe threw the
immunity challenge "It was so hard to see, I hate to
lose anything and to see them throw that challenge actually killed me. It broke my heart but it was a very wise move
for them"
What on earth were you thinking when you told Kim J that
you had a strong alliance that you left behind? "Good
question...I don't know what the heck I told her that for,
it was a panic, I was a fish out of water"
In retrospect would you join the old folks alliance to keep
yourself in the game? "I wouldn't change a thing, the game
is so unpredictable no matter what you do they will throw a
curve ball at you anyway" Did you feel attracted to any of the women? "There was no
attractions Jessie is the only one I was even remotely
attracted to, she's a sweet girl"
What do you think of Lindsey?...."Super super duper
sweetheart, she's been through a lot and very emotional,
too emotional"
Why did you go with Frank and T...how did you
choose?..."Luck of the draw... picked strongest 3"
What was your favorite part of the survivor experience...
"I loved the competition"
Did you really think that the older group would go with your
plan about voting for Lindsey? "It was a very dumb move on
my part to tell them who to vote for. I got what I deserved"
Do you plan to pursue your career in entertainment...
"Most definitely... it's been a dream of mine since I
was little bitty. I'm going to pursue it with a full
steam ahead as soon as i get back to LA"
Are you going to consider doing Playgirl.. "I probably
will not do Playgirl, I have a hairy butt"
Which challenge was the physically hardest...
"the house challenge, we didn't have the manpower
like the other tribe"
Who is your favorite on the show ... defintely Big Tom,
Ii don't know him all that well but he seems like the
coolest guy plus he wears carthartt
Where do they take you after you are voted out of the
tribe..."they take us back to base camp and lock us in a
cage... its the most beautiful lodge...they bring you back
to and we have the time of our lives"
Who have you kept in contact with?... "I keep in touch
with everybody but Lex"
Encounters with wild animals: "pack of female lions on way
back from TC, their bellies were full, my pants were full"
Did Mark Burnett portray you accurately: "the way I was
portrayed was interesting, they filmed 24 hours 30 hours
per episode, throughout those 3 days you touch on every
emotions in the book, they pick and chose what to show ,
the way I was played accurately described the way I played
the game I was there to win"
Was it okay for the producers to do the switch?... "I
didn't enjoy it but it made the show more interesting"
Do you really like Brandon?... "Brandon was a clever kid,
he kept Kim and Lindsey in line, he's a good guy and he
means well"
How did you feel last night when Clarence voted you off...
did you two really become friends..."Clarence and I did
bond but he voted against me and was playing the game well"
How did the twist change your plans...."there wasn't
time to plan the switch happened so quick, it was a
depressing moment"
What was the main thing you ate... "mush"
Why not in touch with Lex.....*long pause*.... "we just
never hit it off"
Did your true personality come out on the show?...
"No, not at all, well my gameface, take the bull by the
horns, and the said we were lazy, Silas isn't lazy"
What's worse.. no food or no water....."the water part
was terrible"
How has survivor changed your life so far?..."it hasn't
really changed my life yet but I'm hoping its going to
change pretty drastically soon"
What's the deal with the bathrooms, is everything that
open?..."you had to take a poop somewhere in the bushes
and there were not that many bushes around. we didn't
have to go to the bathroom very often because your body
consumed everything put into it"
How much weight did you lose?... "around 15 lbs, I wish
I had lost more"
If you could pick someone from past S. to be in Africa
who would you pick... "Colleen because she's a cutie so
is Elisabeth"
Did you ever fear for your life? "Most def we had to
be careful"
Do you have many friends in real life....."I have a
terrific group of friends that i grew up with and am
really close with."
Did you think you were going to go far after alienating
the older people......"we were going to vote frank off
next and keep t bird and have her join us because she's
a sweet lady, merge 5-5 and get someone from the other
team to join us"
Is there anything you regret from your experience...
"I don't regret a thing I'd do it all again"
What do you think of Jeff Probst... "he's mastered
the art of hosting a show like that... he tries until
he gets at ya, he knows how to push people's buttons"
Would it have been better strategy to play both sides of
the fence? "I felt that if I did that and it backfired
then both sides would want to get rid of me. I just
didn't trust Frank. Frank approached me and asked me to
align with him, then he approached Lindsey all the while
talking to the older group did you leave your pillow for
the other survivors? I didn't want to leave my pillow with Frank"
Was being on survivor all that you expected... "it was
more, there's nothing you can do to prepare for the game,
as much as I trained, and mentally prepared, you have
to have luck"
Do you miss Africa... "laughs, not really ! it is a
brutal yet beautiful country. The most beautiful rose is poisonous, the un scorches like a fireball, so no I don't
miss Africa but I do miss playing the game"
How did you prepare yourself for Africa. "I ate small meals,
drank a lot of water, swam, worked out, ran everyday, read
all the survival manuals I could find. I thought I was ready
but I was not you cannot prepare for this game"
Had it come down to you, Kim, Lindsey and Brandon, did you
have a final plan..."We didn't get that far but Brandon
and Kim had a close alliance, Lindsey and I had a close one"
What are your future plans..."go back to L.A. and submerge
myself in acting classes, literature and plays"

Now I know there's a real good chance that Lex makes it atleast to the Jury, so Silas wouldn't have a chance to meet him (unless it was after the final TC at the "wrap party"). But, the thing that puzzles me is why did Silas specifically mention Lex? It's VERY clear from the Silas chat, that he can't stand Frank. There's no way in my mind that he's stayed in touch with Frank. So why not say Lex & Frank? Is Silas pissed at MB for changing the rules half way across the stream, so he's throwing us a BIG 'OL CLUE? This, coupled with the opening Survivor montage, indicates STRONGLY tha Lex is very likely out next $1,000,000 winner. edited for speling

It could be that he didn't include Frank as someone he didn't keep in touch with was because while he didn't really like Frank all that much, he did have a grudging respect for how Frank played the game... as in being one of the final two? I wouldn't put it past Silas to do something like take out revenge on MB by providing a clue who the potential winner might be (Lex) -- he's that sneaky.

Was it simply because he was told by Clarence, about the food mishap? Why wouldn't he think that Frank or Theressa was a target? Are the two of them really bonded with KimP (or J, I forgt)? I think that Kim, Frank and Terresa are pretty tight now. Kim knew that she was on the outter edge of an alliance in Boran and knew that she was on the chopping block. I think she's finding people to bond with now. Does this spell danger for Clarence and Ethan? -MC

Actually, I took Silas' comment about not liking Lex to mean something else entirely. He never said he didn't get to know Lex, rather, he said he didn't LIKE Lex. Which to me seems to say that they do meet, probably soon. Perhaps Silas meets Lex after he is voted off next week, and Lex says something bitter about the Mall Alliance, angering Silas. Anyways, Silas' comment about Lex makes me think that Lex actually goes next week or soon after. It just seems to obvious to me for Lindsey to be voted out next week, but maybe that's just me. I think Lindsey is getting edited to be the new Jerri or Rich....everyone always THOUGHT Jerri and Rich were going, but they all made it quite a decent ways.

10. "Hidden Boran Alliance" |
There is definitely a hidden Boran alliance that I think consists of 4 of the remaining 6 Borans. I also think one of those 4 is Clarence. Boran is smart to drag Frank and Teresa along as long as they can. They know they are only "2" and can be fooled to trust the Borans to eliminate the Gen-Xers. My gut tells me that Ethan is on the outside of the alliance, and may be the next to go. The Borans know there was little love loss between the older Samburu and GenXers so they can pick the GenXers off with the help of the oldies. MamaKim is VERY sure of her alliance being in tact. Notice how smug she was just standing there holding puzzle pieces and looking into space. Where Theresa is the obvious choice if Boran loses again, it will give us a chance to see how strong MamaKim stands especially if she messes up again.
