The shark, having been jumped, swims away into the distance. Men vs women? What further proof do you need? The desperate tactic of comics looking for cheap laughs and dying TV shows trying to kindle interest. Ever since the absurd ending of Marquesas, the game has been abandoned in favor of simple entertainment. (And personally, I found the last one the most mindlessly entertaining.) Since Thailand began, the Fanatics board has had far more interest in What Ifs and imaginary teams than the real players. Not much better here. The next logical step? Move Survivor to a time slot more appropriate to its new image: competing against Wheel of Fortune and Hollywood Squares.

Or it might make sense to move it to the 11:30 pm or 12 midnight time slot with all the grinding going on and having a porn star on the show, plus having a couple of models on the upcoming version of Survivor and rumours that someone takes it all off in the Amazon...

I'm thinking they do it for the shock value to the contestants and the novelty for a few challeges then they do the old switch the buff trick and we end up with mixed tribes. What does everybody think about that idea?

Perhaps earlier than Hollywood Squares -- with Jerry Springer as a lead-in. I wonder if some of Burnitt's contestants come from the Springer show? Since Springer is taped at NBC Tower, just down the street from me, I might go see if I recognize any of them from Survivor. Should I take my camera?
Taking it all off in the Amazon? As Dave and Paul would say, is "pirhanna" anything? Didn't we see that everywhere except Africa? I think so; oh my heck, I can't remember with all the excitement.
The good news: there should be some monkeys or something to steal food; the best part of S5 IMHO
