I think she didn't make it because she already sounds like some of the R&B singers out, she could sing thought, but she sounded a bit like Keisha Cole to me and I guess they want someone unique.

That's a pretty sound theory, I think. At some point before they got the boot, the judges - knowing these people were truly bad singers - must have said, "Let me hear a little Lady Marmelade," and the contestants gladly obliged. Producers have a pretty heavy hand in how the auditioning process goes.

My favorite moment was the look of disgust by Simon when the other idiot judges put through the spazz with a terrible voice. Simon looked like he was ready to walk off.I have to say that it is really disgusting that Paula & Randy would let this guy go to Hollywood over others that they said no to, with better voices but not "right" for the show. First episode in and I already want to shoot Randy & Paula, because they get on my nerves more than anyone. Can't get enough of "tells it like it is Simon." He was hilarious questioning Tangerine Hooker on her weird tan & "look." When that girl's mother walked in, I was DYING. She'll have a great career down the road at the local strip joint.
