From the Legendary Wrestling Newsletter:WWF ENTERS NEGOTIATIONS WITH SURVIVORS...
Kelly Wiglesworth and Sue Hawk both have been offered $250,000 to get
a WWF deal signed to appear on WWF TV and possibly two PPV's. It has
been brought to the WWF's attention that with the popularity of these
two women, as well as the 'heat' that erupted between them the WWF's
use of them would be a financial hit.
Would the WWF save this for WrestleMania? There is less chance these
women could sustain a feud on WWF TV for that long. But the idea has
been pitched to the WWF to have some sort of a wrestling match due to
the real life struggles of the two to get along. Sue Hawk's skill on
the mic (based on her series ending tirade) would make her the heel.
The WWF was impressed with her pro wrestling like heel promo that was
on the last show, and thinks that she could make this work in WWF. A
idea was also floated that this match would take place at WWF's giant
Survivor Series PPV, which would make considerable sense.
Sue and Kelly in a Texas Cage Death Survivor Match? Yeah, that's draw a little money.
