WEEKLY BONUS RESULTS
Throughout the week, I hid secret hidden-text clues in various posts of mine. These clues led to a phrase that pertained to this season of Survivor, or the SurvivorBlows message boards. Here were the clues and where to find them:
Clue #1: Office Pool Wk3 Entry Thread
PQM - Q in PQM stands for Question, meaning the phrase is a question.
Clue #2: PTTE Week 3 Changes
Sodium Chloride - Sodium chloride is salt, which has different varieties, one of which is kosher salt.
Clue #3: ABC Wk3 Entry
"Parve"ati - "Kosher Parve" can be found on certain food packaging, having to do with whether the food is kosher or not. Parvati said the phrase.
The answer: "Is that kosher?", said by Parvati in the premiere episode, in regards to splitting the tribes by race.

DearAbby, seahorse, CattyChat, and kircon all had great entries this week, each getting +66 points. CattyChat and kircon both also won the Weekly Bonus, getting them both another +40 on top of the already outstanding entries. Neither one of them managed to break into the top 5, but they both came close.
The top of the leaderboard remains nearly the same. Flowerpower moves up one spot and nearly takes #1, but DearAbby still dominates the scoreboard.

Week 4 Entry
CHANGE-UP - RED INK
Now...there are some of you this season who have been continually going in the wrong direction, or just practically nowhere at all. If you fit into this category of player, I've decided to open up the good old REDINK division as an option for you.
To play for Red Ink, you must declare it THIS WEEK, and this week only. The Red Ink winner will be whichever player is closest to 0 points by the end of the season. You cannot hit zero points, or you will be eliminated from the game just as a regular player would be. Also, if you miss an entry, you get +10 points, not -10.
I will be somewhat generous, and give you all one +25-point token to use in any week you want. If you are getting dangerously close to zero and don't think you can make it, you can use that to boost you up and prevent you from getting eliminated.
Scoring remains exactly the same, so you'll need to balance between answering questions correctly and incorrectly.
If you declare Red Ink, you do not have to answer the P-Question each week. I will not score previous ones you have answered, either.

Weekly Bonus
THE PQM BOND SHOP
No, not bondage, bond. The bond shop is basically what is sounds like - a place where you can buy a bond.
You can get one of three amounts on your bond:
- A 20-point bond.
- A 40-point bond.
- A 50-point bond.
I will take away the amount that you put into it from your score this week. The week after (Week 5 results), you will get double that amount.
Of course, there is a catch.
In order to get the full double-point amount from your bond in the Week 5 Results, you must get a weekly ENTRY score (meaning from just questions 1-10) of at least half of the amount that you put in for the next two weeks. For example, if you got a 40-point bond, you would need to have an entry score of 20 points for both Week 4 and Week 5, in order to get the full 80 points back.
Every point that you under-score, I will take away 2 points from the final amount that you receive. So, let's say you got the 40-point bond. In Week 4 you get an entry score of 12 and in Week 5 you get an entry score of 16.
20-12 = 8
8 x 2 = 16 points taken away for Week 4 and
20-16 = 4
4 x 2 = 8 points taken away for Week 5.
That's a total of 24 points from your 80, so you only get 56 points from that bond, which is only a profit of +16.
Red-Inkers, this will work exactly the same for you as everyone else, only all the figures I mentioned above will be negative. So, I will add 40 points to your score if you get a 40-point bond, and if you managed to get the full points, I'll take 80 away from you in Week 5. My suggestion - go for 20-point or don't go for it at all. Otherwise you might be in trouble later down the road.

Brief Rules
Entries
- You have to answer at least 3 questions of your choosing.
- You have to bet at least the preset amount on each question you answer.
- You must answer Question P.
Lottery
To play the Alternative Star Lottery for the week, you must chip in 5 points, and answer the question with a number answer. The person closest to the answer without going over wins 25 points. If everyone goes over, the person that is closest will win.
Weekly Bonuses
In addition to the ASL, I will more than likely come up with some sort of other bonus every week. They are not necessarily an extra question, but will more often than not be some sort of "activity".
Elimination
You can only get eliminated in two ways. (1) If you miss three entries in a row, or (2) if you lose all of your points through betting.
Scoring
However many points you bet, I take away from you before I score your entry. Then, whichever questions you answer correctly will earn you twice that amount. For example, if you bet 8 points, I take 8 from you at the beginning. If you get it right, I give you 16 points meaning you get a profit of 8 points. If you get it wrong, I just keep the points and you lose them.
If you don't have enough total points to pay for the minimum bets on 3 total questions, you will just have to put as many points as you can towards questions and I will extend some type of credit to you. I will go into more detail if and when this actually happens.
Bonus Tokens
All Bonus Tokens can only be used once.
# Auto-Correct Token - You are allowed to pick three questions (excluding Question P) that automatically get counted as a correct answer. You will get points as though you had placed the minimum bet on these questions. These do not have to be the only three questions you answer for that week.
° Carbon Copy Token - You automatically receive half of your previous week's results. For example, if you got 60 points the week before and used this, you would get a 30-point bonus.
* Lottery Leniency Token - Your Lottery guess will be given an extra range of 20, e.g. if you guessed 50, it really counts as every number from 30 to 70.
^ Naughty, Naughty Token - You get to "cheat" on the weekly bonus: you will automatically receive the best possible outcome. It is invalid in a week with a bonus where the "best" is a matter of opinion.
