ejm92 2221 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Roller Coaster Inaugurator" 05-01-03, 01:03 AM (EST) "AI2 Anti-Bootee Game, W8 Results/W9 Entry" Well, week eight in the AI2ABGame is finished, but we still have many players in the game with a chance. Ruuuuben had lots of fun with us this week, penalizing all but one or two players with his evil three point deduction for being in the bottom two. When it was all said and done, bonuses helped Keae become the big weekly winner, with a huge 7 point bonus. She was followed by ejm92 and carencey, also using bonus questions to get them 5 points for the week. However, things would have been different if tjstein would have kept Josh safe for this week, but instead was penalized for editing him out. This week's bottom dweller was tribephyl, who continues to hold the bottom spot in the points competition. Clay Aiken Joshua Gracin Kimberley Locke Ruben Studdard 2 points for each Idol you pick that is not in the bottom two, a 3 point deduction if you pick the Idol who is in the bottom two but not eliminated, and YOU are eliminated if you pick the Idol that is booted. Remember, you MUST have at least ONE Idol on your safe list as this competition comes to a close. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The RDB AND RMB Ok, this is probably going to be completely complicated for everybody. BUT, I'm trying to help everyone out with some bonus points to make this contest interesting. Here's the deal....you choose which bonus you want, the Randy MAN Bonus or the Randy DAWG bonus...here are the details...... RDB - In this bonus, you get to pick how many times Randy will say "Dawg" in the upcoming episode. Since this is the easier of the two bonus questions, you do not get as many points....however, you have an easier chance at getting them. If you guess the number of Dawgs, you get a 5 point bonus. For one off, you get a 3 point bonus. For two off, you get a 1 point bonus. RMB - This bonus is much harder, you choose how many times Randy will say "Man" in the upcoming episode. This bonus is usually harder because Randy says "Man" more times than "Dawg" in most cases. Last week's bonus was 16 "Man's". This week, we're adjusting the point system. 8 points for a correct guess, 5 points for being one off, 3 points for being two off, and 1 point for being three "men" off. Remember, if you want the points, you can only choose ONE, either choose the RDB or the RMB, make it clear in your post, if it is not clear then I will do the RDB as a default choice. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Bonus Questions: Last week, the order was Clay/Randy/Trenyce. This week, we're following the same exact format, 2 points for each bonus question you get correct. 1. Which Idol will be the first to solo perform on Tuesday? 2. Which judge will say the name "Josh" first? 3. Name any idols that will use a mic stand during their performance on Tuesday (2 pts apiece that use a mic stand, 2 points if you say "Zero" and zero Idols use a mic stand) ------------------------------------------------------------- Deadline is 8 on Tuesday, 5 point penality for editing between shows. Hmmm.... what's the penalty for guessing this question wrongly? If there's no penalty, then I'll guess everybody since I'll get 2 points apiece that use a mic stand If there's a penalty, ie. if I get zero for any incorrect guesses, then I'd say none of them uses the mic stand. By the way, I have a request for the next couple weeks: I will be backpacking with some friends to Central Europe for 2 months and we'll be leaving on May 7th. Since I probably won't be checking in on this site whilst on my trip, I will probably need someone to help me answer the bonus questions for the remaining weeks unless the bonus questions remain the same for the next few weeks. It'll be such a pity to give up on the game now when I'm near the top. I'll share my credits with you if we win, of course. My guess is for Clay to win the show and I think he'll be safe for the next couple of weeks. The person who takes over my game can choose whatever answers for the bonus. I will reveal the answers in the new thread, but from now until the time I do get to score, I need everyone's input. Several people guessed for both the Randy Man and the Randy Dawg Bonus, so which should I count? I'm not for sure what to do...I could count only the Dawgs, only the Mans, only the highest points, or only the lowest points they score.
