All you have to do is pick your top 10 finalist out of the 32 remaining. Pick by Tuesday 2/4/03 at 8:00 pm EST.Once the elimination process has begun, no more picks will be considered. SCORING
Depending on where your picks finish in the top 10 is how many points you get.
Not making it into the top 10 : 0 points
10th: 1 point
9th: 2 points
8th: 3 points
7th: 4 points
6th: 5 points
5th: 6 points
4th: 7 points
3rd: 8 points
2nd: 9 points
1rst: 10 points BONUS POINTS
You will also get a bonus 3points for everyone you get in the right order. So make your top 10 decision in order you think they will be eliminated. For example if you think rocker Patrick Lake will make it into the 10 and finish 10th( the first one eliminated) you would put him down first on your list. If he makes the top 10 and is eliminated 10th you get 1 point for being eliminated 10th and a bonus 3 points for the correct order he was eliminated. If he made it into the top 10 and goes further than 10th, he will still get points based on when he was eliminated, just no bonus. You are forgetting the two wild cards that the judges choose. The top two from this week will definitely move on, but the judges could put a third from this week's group in the finals with their wild card choice.

Scott, this is really hard, considering we do not know how the pairings are going to go, we only have the first 8. It all depends on how the 24 are grouped up. Anyway, this is how I think it will go: 10th place: Kimberly Caldwell (she's evil, audience won't like her. She will make it to the top ten, because judges will choose her). 9th Place: Clay Aiken (He will get enough votes to make it, due to his voice, but then competition will get very tough). 8th Place: Rickey Smith (see Clay). 7th Place: Ruben Studdard (judges will put him here, audience will take him out). 6th Place: Joshua Gracin (Marine boy's time to go, leaving J.D. all alone with all those big voiced ladies). 5th place: Julia DeMato (competition with the women gets nasty). 4th Place: Vanessa Olivarez (this year's Nikki, the difference is that this girl can actually sing). 3rd Place: J.D. Adams (the last of the males). 2nd Place: Kimberley Locke (Her HUGE voice will get her this far). 1st Place: Frenchie Davis (say hello to your American Idol). Again, this is tough, since we don't have the groups, aside from the first one. A PTTE would be fun, and Ahtumbreez would surely appreciate it

Going with my "GUT"....and I know it's wrong, lol....keeping with the "Talent over Image" theme....10. Jacob John Smalley - Simon loves him, but I dunno if the USA does. 09. Rickey Smith - Talented....but he has limitations. 08. Vanessa Olivarez - I dunno...won't quite make it, she probably isn't very versatile in her style. 07. Kim Locke - She and Frenchie can't both be on for too long, they have a similar style and will have a similar (split) fan base...Frenchie survives though. 06. JD Adams - May be a judges' pick, but America won't let him go far... 05. Kim Caldwell - She may be the villain of this thing...but villains do make it pretty far most of the time. 04. Ruben Studdard - Frenchie may steal some of his fans...he's one of my favorites though. 03. Frenchie Davis - I dunno....I just can't see her making it all the way...she probably will have trouble singing some of the different styles that are required to be the American Idol. 02. Julia DeMato - Really like her...hard worker, dilgent...the final vote would be close, but I think she'd be the runner up in this scenario. 01. Joshua Gracin - I dunno...a guy will probably win this time, and he is my favorite of the ones left. The military thing will be a big plus for him, he will have a large fan base.

I love PTTE's, although my fingernails are suffering from the pressure of being in first over on the Mole board and not knowing whether to eat the two points and switch or stay low and hope bondt007 messes up!
