I have been really thinking during this season of American Idol... that maybe this isn't as REALITY as they say?!?! I LOVE this show, please don't get me wrong, I have watched EVERY season, but I am getting alil weary of all the D R A M A. Do you think that it's possible that 1 of the fav's actually didn't get the votes last nite & so they feel that they need to pull a scandal 2 get a revote? I taped it last nite & yes, there is a mistake, but it is sooo small that you would HAVE 2 not be paying attention to mess up. I understand they want to be fair, but could this all be a stunt??? What a week n 1/2 or so we lost Mario was most certainly going to be the next American Idol -- so every1 was watching & waiting for info, now this week we have the revote -- COME ON!!!!!!! I know that FOX needs ratings, but oh my WORD -- I just want the next American IDol. They need 2 fire whomever is responsible for the mistake & get on with it. A show that is normally on 2 nites has now been drug out 2 3nites -- aaaggghhhh! Like I have said b4 -- I love the show, but not with so much D R A M A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is definately going to incite this year's batch of conspiracy claims. The fact that the show WAS TAPED and now we have this error....oh, its not going to be pretty.I do not believe the show is rigged in any way, but mistakes like this bring out the conspiracy buffs. I think the best solution they could have done was chalk up this week as a mistake and have NO VOTE, and extend the season a week, but instead they do this revote. I don't know if this was the best solution. geekboy

Chatterbox -Yes, we do seem to agree ALMOST all of the time. And your remark about Carrie is one of those RARE times we disagree. I simply love AI, the competition, the drama, everything about it. I think one of the contestants this year has a chance to give AI the "shot in the arm" it needs to prove that AI can produce a real star. Over the past 3 seasons, only Kelly from AI1 has become what could be considered a "star". Where is Ruben? What happened to Fantasia? Clay did well, and I love Clay, but he didn't technically win. AI needs a winner who is unique, who is different than the past 3. One contestant can do that, and the name of that contestant is BO BICE. geekboy
