The Pagan Party Reward and Immunity Challenge Card game proved the ladies and the eldermen too crafty for the young guys to keep up with.
Therefore the YapChuuk have a date with the snuffer.
Aras ~ Ethan ~ JT ~ Jud ~ Rob ~ ToddTC Banter:
JP: Welcome to Tribal Council, guys. Uh, Ethan, Todd and JT go ahead and grab your torch from behind you and light it in the fire.
*the three new guys to tribal council do as directed*
Now go ahead and take your seats.
JP: Wow! That was almost a complete shut-out, guys. Even without the Danni and Yul advantages the older guys and the ladies beat out the young strong dudes? On paper, you have to admit, it should have been the young bucks the whole way. But for you, Aras, this is your third tribal council. What's up with that?
Aras: I'm beginning to wonder too. I came in to the game prepared to really bring my A game and so far, my lack of luck has written my script for me. A game be dammed. A new vantage is what I seek.
JP: That sounds as if you're changing strategies again. Are you?
Aras: Well, I've been to 2 tribal councils before and I've survived but I'm a little scared of this 3rd time. 3rd time can be a charm but 3 strikes and you're out too. I again am packed. It's not a strategy change if I've remained aware of my lack of popularity status.
JP: So, it's a game of popularity? Rob? You agree?
Rob: You know it, Jeff! That's all this is. Regawdless of what Aras thinks he brought for this game, he still has to attone for his 1st win. Aras is gonna hafta somehow build a different alliance of supportahs. Although if he keeps going to Tribal his numbah will come up soonah rather than latah. On the other hand, I pretty much know I'm guaranteed a merge position, regardless of who I vote for tonight. I did NOT pack tonight.
JP: Without Immunity, which all of you are indeed without, that comes off as a mighty bold statement. How's that make you feel, JT?
JT: Like a I couldn't care less. Rob can do whatever he wants to. He's strong, he's strategic, he's a recent winner, he's popular and people are going to use him to fill the spot of post merge target.
Todd: Sorry, JT, I don't mean to buttin but... (to Rob) I don't see Amber sitting around the fire tonight so I predict you have 1 less vote than you thought you had.
JP: You have personal reasons for pointing out Rob's temporary lack of numbers?
Todd: Yes. That's all it takes. A temporary lapse, whether in judgement, strategy, situation or decision....then *snap* you're gone.
JP: So Jud, how does the guy who actually penalized his own challenge team figure into this whole popularity = free ride to merge thing?
Jud: Hehe, I dunno, Jeff. I'm just playing this game, talking to people and hanging out. I give my all at challenges but I sometimes come up short. I hope no one targets me because of that.
JP: So who do you think is in danger tonight?
Jud: Yeah, again I dunno. I thought for sure the old guys would be here. But if I were to make a vote I'd probably write down the name of the player with the most chance of winning.
JP: That leaves me with Ethan, So how are you voting this evening?
Ethan: I'm actually voting along alliance lines. Long distance alliance lines. I have three bars on my shellcell. Good reception. Clear as a bell. Jenna, can you hear me now?
JP: Okay, what better non-sequitor to begin the voting process with?
Please enter the Private Voting Booth and make your vote for one of the young guys.
Either; Aras, Ethan, JT, Jud, Rob or Todd.
