PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

1. "RE: Praise the Lord! The Weavers Win! (?)" |
I hope not. I found this spoiler at http://www.realitytvworld.com/index/modules.php?file=article&name=News&op=modload&sid=3720: According to Sportsbook.com, it had recently witnessed "a large number of wagers" -- all for the maximum amount allowed by the gambling website -- coming from Ohio, the home state of one of The Amazing Race Family Edition's ten competing families.
Presumably not coincidentally, all the bets also happen to have been placed on that one Ohio family -- The Linz Family, a team of siblings from Cincinnati. Comprised of young adult siblings, the Linz family team features Tommy, a 19-year-old Miami University of Ohio student; Megan, a 21-year-old Miami University of Ohio student; Alex, a 22-year-old recent University of Cincinnati graduate; and Nick, a 24-year-old who currently works in sales and lives in Buffalo, New York I am hoping that it is right because that is the team I am rooting for.

3. "RE: Praise the Lord! The Weavers Win! (?)" |
LAST EDITED ON 12-07-05 AT 07:44 PM (EST)I think it's already CONFIRMED that the Linzies WILL WIN this because if you've watched yesterday's live interview with the Godlewskis on cbs.com,Michele blurted out something which strongly hinted that they won. At least, that's what i thought. When Christine was talking about how she could relate to Nick but that he didn't cry anytime during the race,Michele suddenly cuts in and blurts out that 'maybe he will cry in the next lap,in the next episode' and Christine also said "..maybe". When she said that,it really looks like she was telling it from her memory of the Linzies winning at the finish line. So there you go,now we got 2 "spoilers - 1)the betting spoiler 2)Michele 'hinting' that Nick will cry in the next episode (tears of happiness)

4. "Not if there's a "Traditional Native Blessing" ceremony" |
I'm still hoping that one of the stops includes a 'native blessing' as in TAR 4 - Monsopiad Cultural Village. If the traditional blessing was enough to make the Christian Millie cringe, something along the same lines could be enough to throw the Weavils off their game too. There are enough Native Reserves between them and the finish line where they could stop in for a traditional North American Indian type blessing. I hope. I hope. I hope. It would be great to see their reactions too.
