Suddenly, Flo seems like a stable, controlled woman.Good grief. They seemed to pick the most emotionally weak families they could find for this season. The Weavers had an excuse last night, but their histrionics last week (from the girls, at least -- mom and the boy seem to have it more together) proved it goes beyond that. That Schroeder girl? WTF? And one of the Godlewskis breaking down over whether to leave the backpack in the car? Sheesh. I can't wait until these people actually have to go to a foreign country next week. If they get stressed out looking for the world's biggest office chair and a mobile home retailers, just wait until they have to go somewhere they don't speak the language. Because somehow, I have a feeling that most of these families are not going to be too well-versed in foreign travel or geography. A Nutzy/IceCat masterpiece.

That Schroeder girl? WTF?Although I can certainly see why she is in the emotional group...I really don't blame her when she was right at least a couple times and was flat out ignored. Simply put, if the father listened and searched all the trailers and found the 7:40 that the Paolo Family found, I think the Schroeder's would still be racing. Although, yeah, where did we get these people? I can deal with the Linz and Bransen family, but the Godlewski family is crying over backpacks, the Weavers are emotional beyond belief (I can understand Talladega...but the son seemed to have no issue). The fmaily with the two kids are liveable emotionally, but the kids seem useless beyond belief, and if the father and mother were slightly less fit, they would have been gone on the log task. Two of the Paolo's need mute buttons.

I blame her. She was a troll, and her behavior was despicable. The only Schroeder I like is the stepmother, and only when she's romanticizing her "perfect friendly pal-around relationship" with her step kids cut over video of them rolling their eyes about her and calling her a b!tch.Stassey was embarrassing. Her absolute hatred of the Weaver team consumed her focus and her emotion. She was a drain on her team. She was an ugly little soul whose mere presence sucked the team dry of morale. She was an embarrassment. She didn't say, "Dad, please, I am certain it's the mobile home seller. Let's go," or anything of the sort. She b!tched, insulted, and raged about the "Florida team" then later cried out how she knew it all along. (Hell, she even admitted that she "knew it all along, but only if" she had spoken up about it.) Oh, and Dad stopping the party bike so the others might have an easier time peddling was met with such ugliness from that little gem that is Stassey. The whole time I was thinking, "I bet it's hard for DAD, and he's trying to preserve a little dignity by hoping to appear magnanimous rather than weak." I would have allowed my father that, and was disappointed that she didn't make the same simple courtesy to her father.

Honestly, my memory is a bit fuzzy, was the stepmother the one who tried to separate the step-son from another team's boy? If so, then I can see why they would roll their eyes and call her a bitch.I'm not convinced about the focus on the Weavers. Obviously, it was an unhealthy obsession (although editing can make a team look better or worse, and maybe they had other reasons to disdain the family). And I believe she did say to search through the other mobile homes, yet a certain family member decided to take the worst time when a 7:40 was still available. That 7:40 was taken by a team that finished 2nd. She spoke up enough that, if they listened to her, the odds of them finishing behind the Gaughans (from what we know) would be noticeably lower. Obviously, my memory may be off, I am still having trouble remembering details from the show, but I can understand her frustrations as no one would listen to her when she was right at least once. I'd be pissed too.
