PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the

As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Hm, let's look at the facts, shall we?- AI has consistently been at the top of the ratings. - Fox has been under a lot of flak for their questionable background checks. Neither of these support exposing the past of a contestant as a ratings boost. - Corey had just finished in the bottom 3. - In various popularity polls around the Internet, Corey finished nowhere near the top. Neither of these facts support the premise that he would have won the competition if he had been allowed to continue. Gee, who's the one seeking publicity? The way it stands now it gives the appearance that he is a criminal Well, this may be just me, but I don't think of him as a criminal, just someone who doesn't tell the whole truth. Oh, and I also think of him as someone with marginal talent at best who would never be able to put out a CD worth buying. But that's not based on TheSmokingGun report. BOO. HOO. Corey, can you say "full disclosure"? How about "personal responsibility"? You don't have to say "unbearable falsetto," "mush-mouth," or "fatally lacking in talent," because we heard them every time you sang. Face it Corey, the timer on your 15 minutes of fame is currently reading 14:59.

My favorite Corey quote: "They say they kicked me off because I didn't tell them about the arrest," said Corey. "The only reason I didn't tell them about the arrest was because I knew I didn't do anything. So they're trying to make it out to be like I'm a liar and stuff like that." In other words, they kicked him out because he lied. That's one of the worst justifications ever. The truth of the matter is that Corey, you only got *cast* for ratings purposes, period. I don't think you got cast because you have a fantastic singing voice and the producers/judges thought you had a chance of winning. It was clear that Fox cast you as the villain of the show, the one a majority of America wanted to see booted. If you hadn't been a big fat liar, I'm sure that Fox would have kept you around for ratings purposes. (In fact it probably sounds like Nygel wanted him but got overruled by the Fox President) We need a new AI Game for next season: Guess which contestants will have what scandals!

LAST EDITED ON 04-14-03 AT 02:59 PM (EST)Corey needs to pick up the Clue Phone, 'cos it's a-jinglin' for him! Court documents don't lie - how was this idiot figuring he would be able to appear in court on April 15th and then sing in tomorrow night's show? The producers of AI aren't hurting for ratings. They merely acted in accordance with what they found out about Corey, which Corey withheld from them. Corey wants to cry that he was targeted for ratings? Please, don't make me laugh - he was within a week of being booted anyway! He should be grateful he got his 15 minutes at all with that shrieking he calls singing. This guy was by no means the star of the show - this isn't like Clay or Ruben smacked someone around - now THAT would have been a much bigger stink, to have one of the obvious stars gone via scandal. All this did was get him off the show a week earlier than he would have been. He's living in a fantasy world to think that he would have had a chance to claim the top prize. "His name is Blane??? That's a major appliance, that's not a name!!"
