"Casting Rob & Amber"
How many of you are curious as to how Rob and Amber got picked for TAR? Do you think they applied & just happened to get picked? Or do you believe as I do that TAR approached them for the drama they could bring to this season? After all, you must agree that the previous race was rather bland? True there were arguments amongst the couples but no real standout characters like previous races. I'd really like to know if you think Rob and Amber applied and just happen to be picked or were approached for the drama.I predict more people agree with me, they were appraoched.

It's been mentioned here on more than one occassion and in more than one thread, that Rob & Amber approached the TAR producers and asked to be on the show.

3. "Right"

As Spidey and the other thread say, Romber approached the TAR producers because they thought it would be "fun." CBS likes Romber. Thus, they're here ... and we can clear away the mess that was TAR6.
Since we've been through the Romber romp before, I'm locking the thread as a duplicate.

I think they made a tape and sent it in and used fake names so they would not get any preferential treatment by the producers.
