Maybe you are right but I hope not because it would be a lot less fun doing this.

S10 Palau:

Intro: Jeff told everyone that they had to Decide how they would get to shore in order to win the immunity necklace.
- Stephenie made the worst decision and jumped off the lifeboat.

As the chores were distributed, fireman Tom Decided that making fire was a loser job while the 5 players who Decided to try anyway were 4 Ulongs and Jonathan.

Epi #1 challenge: Jeff said that they had to Decide what they would carry to the end.
Tom for Koror Decided to carry only the flint.
Ulong Decided to carry everything and they lost.

At TC, Jeff told Ulong they needed to Decide on a leader, to have a plan. They refused.
Koror Decided on a leader early on.

Asked to which island they wanted to go, Tom Decided for the new island, the new adventure.

Council after council, Stephenie couldn't Decide who to vote for, twice even forcing a tie before switching her vote.
Faced with their only vote, Tom Decided Willard had to go. Koror followed.

Ulong couldn't Decide on a representative for a challenge.
For Koror, Tom Decided it would be Ian.

Tom Decided to go shark hunting, Ian said he followed despite his better judgment.

After an immunity win, Tom Decided to use water for drinking rather than bathing. Jenn disagreed but followed.

Gregg planned on voting out Tom but never put his plan into motion. Tom Decided that Gregg had to pay them back and quickly dispatched his biggest threat.

Ian was shown as very uncertain of himself, unable to lie to Caryn, unable to follow through on the plan not to share a reward with Tom. Tom was never shown hesitating.

The clues aren't only in the first episode. They were even more subtle in Micronesia were Parvati was shown doing things that she hadn't been able to do in CI. She didn't know how to clean a fish in CI but, in Micronesia, she was fishing with the locals. We saw her smiling while the NuAirai women looked miserable under the rain.

The editors usually build a good story. For all the clues cited above, there were much more doubts surrounding Tom then there were around JT.
