"Survivor 2nd Chances III: Road to the Finals" |
A continuation of the game within a game wherein past survivors get their 2nd Chance to win the title of sole survivor. But only because YOU say so. We've hit traditional Merge stage (perhaps a couple of steps beyond) and the current Final 10 are... Aaron
Amy
Angie
Brady
Brian
Gina
Hunter
Michael
Russell
Tanya
Congrats, you 10, for making it this far!
You have all made it to the point where I can now offer a place to safely stay outside of the elements. It will be a sleeping arrangement within the newly built Igloolik longhouse. All of you will all stay here for the remainder of the game. Some of you will stay here night after night, forging your way to the Final Vote. Most of you will be staying here night after night as members of the Jury. Yup! I've moved the jury and the contestants into the same longhouse! Mwahahahaaa... And to make it worse, there is a slowly accruing amount of 4-poster beds available for the survivors who are voted out. Plush, for sure. And with these Juror Beds will come the ... right ... to make that Finale Vote, as a juror. Now, for those survivors that remain in the game, still in contention for the title of "Survivor 2nd Chance Champion", I will award a fur-pad next to the fire. The game for players also continues... but with new twists and even deeper strategies.
When you're ready to join in and decide for yourself who stays and who goes, look for my latest post and just do it! (With stamina, agility and know-how.) Good luck all.

If I have this straight, now CTGirl gets to decide between Russell and Brian for F10 immunity, right?Yup. She'll bestow F10 Immunity to either Brian or Russell, then we'll head into Tribal Council. With so many twists, I'm lost; we need a recap! Is Wanda still in the game? A Full Recap is expected with the next thread (Say F7 ish) but to settle some nerves... No, Wanda is not still playing. She left the game and entered LoserLodge at F15 (6th Boot). I believe her and the rest of the later losers went on a spelunking expedition. In fact, we may never hear from her again. I've also been editing the main challenge topic with the results of the picks and such. I will try to do a more comprehensive pre-tribal voting dialogue beforehand to help with some of the possible "I'm lost" feelings. However, I can't help but feel a sense of pride that you didn't see some of these things coming though.

You'd think I'd like that twist but what do we do next for fun? Being the Supreme Power isn't as amusing as it appears to be. I mean, seeing Stephanie V, Rocky and Kathleen battling out in the F3 would make me laugh but I'd have too many calls from Tebow!

Well, they were very entertaining players and not as bad as what we saw:Rocky had the right idea, forming that Explorer alliance from the start. Unfortunately, he was outwitted by Dreamz who was an even more underestimated player. Stephanie was liked by the rest of Zapatera, more than Krista and even Sarita but, since she was close to Russell, they couldn't risk bringing her to the merge. Had she been on Ometepe, maybe, just maybe, she wouldn't have been as docile as the other girls on that tribe. Kathleen quit mostly because Jonathan left. Had he stayed, she could have been part of a coup with Jonathan, Eliza and Jason to boot Parvati. Put her in an F3 and she'd be a tough one to beat because she's extremely witty.

You're right about Rocky having the right idea with the Explorer alliance, but you forgot two things: first, he was on a tribe that almost always lost and second, his bad attitude towards people like Anthony might have grated on the people who were switched from the other tribe onto his one:Stephanie wouldn't have been as docile as the others on Ometepe but she would have been gone sooner as Boston Rob would have seen her as a threat. As for Kathleen, you're right in saying that she quit mostly because Jonathan left but the only reason why she lasted as long as she did was because she had a "support system", first in Tracy and Chet and once they were on the other tribe, in Jonathan. She couldn't control her emotions well enough to function without those guys. She just wasn't cut out for the game -- and she was a Fan! Then again, Erik wasn't really cut out for Survivor either, especially when Amanda, Cirie, Natalie and Parvati all got to him and he wound up giving the Immunity necklace to Natalie! No wonder Eliza looked shocked, why Ozzy shook his head as he grinned, and why James couldn't contain his laughter. I'd have had a hard time keeping from laughing if I'd been there!

Despite that Ravu was very close in the first two challenges. There is nothing that helps team morale more than a victory so Rocky would not have had such a bad attitude if they had won a few rewards and immunities. Yet, he also tried to make his tribe laugh on many occasions. >Stephanie wouldn't have been as docile >as the others on Ometepe >but she would have been >gone sooner as Boston Rob >would have seen her as >a threat. We have absolutely no way of knowing what would have happened exactly.

Welcome, survivors, to Tribal Council. You've all been here before so go ahead and place your torches behind you and take your stumps. So, Scratscapade really had some heads twisting? Brian: I had it all figured out. I don't know what those players were thinking. Russell: I thought I had it all figured out. I'm not so sure anymore. JPtribe: Really, Russell? You're a PowerPlayer now. Russell: Okay, now we're getting somewhere. I forgot about that. Thanks, krismiss! JPtribe: You got a PowerPlayer token too, Tanya. You feel good? Tanya: I feel great. This arctic air does wonders for my nauseau and that token is just about the best thing ever. Finals here I come. JPtribe: Seems to be a bit boastful. You realize 2 Hidden Idols were discovered as well, right? Tanya: Uh-Oh. Are they valid now? When should I... um be worried. I should be very worried. Thanks JPtribe. Thanks for bursting my bubble. JPtribe: Just breathe in that cold air girl. You'll be fine. I'd love to hear your thoughts too Gina. How are you fairing. Gina: Good, I'm good. JPtribe: ...and that's it? good? really? Amy: She should be close-lipped. I think it has to do with the HiddenIdol. But that's just me. Maybe Hunter has it and she's just covering. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. JPtribe: Ohhhkaaay... Hunter? Hunter: She's definitely paranoid. As usual the favorites going in end up losing steam about this time and those that can't hack it start losing their marbles. JPtribe: Sounds like you and Gina are still together, and that possibly Amy is not with you. Gina: Yup. Hunter: No. That's not what I meant. *elbows Gina* JPtribe: Well, moving on... I guess I should ask Brian if he would like to pass off his immunity? (nods to Brian, Brian shakes head) No? Okay, time to vote... Tanya: OMG I forgot to thank BelleBook for my PowerPlayer token. Thanks, Belle! JPtribe: Okay, NOW we vote. Please take a moment to visit the specially designed Private Voting Booth and make your vote for one of the following survivors... (keeping in mind you cannot vote for Brian) Aaron Amy Angie Brady Brian *IMMUNE* Gina Hunter Michael Russell Tanya

LAST EDITED ON 01-11-12 AT 04:19 PM (EST)When I read the votes the survivor with the most votes will need to bring me their torch, say their goodbyes and take a four-poster bed in the Igloolik longhouse. Now, before I start, I'd love to ask if anyone has a hidden idol and would like to play it? Brady: Um, JPtribe? I do. ... here. JPtribe: Thank you, Brady. This is indeed a hidden immunity, therefore all votes cast against Brady will be voided. (Hope you all had a back-up plan?) First votes is for...
Brady (doesn't count) Next votes is for... Brady (doesn't count) next vote is for... Michael. We have a valid vote and it's for Michael! Next vote is for... Brady Still Michael with 1 vote. Next vote is for... Brady again doesn't count. Next vote is for... Brady. Wow. Brady, you are a lucky guy. Still 1 vote Michael. None for anyone else. Next vote is for ... Brady Wow. Okay. Peeps don't like Brady, it seems. The next vote is for Aaron. We have a tie, with valid votes, 1 for Aaron and 1 for Michael. Next vote is for... Brady again, doesn't count. And 1 last vote here and it is for... The 10th Bootee of Survivor 2nd Chances 3, Aaron. That's 2 votes, that's enough. Bring me your torch. Sorry, Aaron, the tribe has spoken
*snuff* The rest of you will begin the next challenge soon. For now, get some rest.

35. "F9 Challenge: Snowman Smash!" |
LAST EDITED ON 01-13-12 AT 01:40 AM (EST)Allrighty, it's become time to go ahead and hold our own 'coconut chop' typed challenge. Be aware! Each of you, players and survivors alike, have a specially designed Snowman in front of you. Each of these snowmen are made up of 3 parts; Top, Middle and Bottom.
Now, the challenge itself will be made up of a series of questions. 1 per day. Answer a daily question and you will be eligible to take a Smash at another's snowman.
SnowmenSmashes, will alternate from Survivors to Players dependent upon the day and question. But when in the actuality of making smash choices, I will let you know which snowmen are vulnerable. After all questions have been asked (and answered)... Any survivor whose snowman is completely busted, is out of the challenge. Any survivor with their snowman completely intact, will be awarded 'Immunity' for the next tribal council. Any player, whose snowman is completely busted, is out of the challenge. Any player with their snowman completely intact, will be awarded with a 'Jury Vote' at FINAL Tribal Council. Now, due to their PowerPlayer status both Tanya and Russell have been given an Inuit Shield, to protect their snowmen against the 1st Smash. Survivors: Snowman (pieces) Amy: (3) Angie: (2) Brady: (3) Brian: (3) Gina: (3) Hunter: (3) Michael: (3) Russell: (4) Tanya: (4) As for players, you all have a mask on... Players: agman: (3) Belle: (3) Corvis: (3) CT: (3) D'Abby: (3) Georj: (3) krismiss: (3) martini: (3) michel: (3) Spot: (3) suzzee: (3) taffnic: (3) Now, before I just let you all loose, some rules. Each day I will post a message entitled 'Question: Day 1', 'Question: Day 2', etc. Dependant on the actual day of question. Upon lapsing of 24hour-ish deadline, I will post the results of the question in a message called 'Snowman Smash: Day 1', 'Snowman Smash: Day 2', etc. Dependent on the actual day of Smashing. You may only answer the CURRENT days question. You may only make smashes during the CURRENT days snowman smash. You may NOT go back and answer previous questions, you may NOT go back and make-up for missed smashes.
If you answer the days question correctly, you will be awarded a chance to smash some snowmen. If you don't make it back in time to make a smash, your smash will be forfeited. Look below for the current days question. Good Luck! Good Smashing!

LAST EDITED ON 01-18-12 AT 06:50 PM (EST)Never before have we had such a monsterous amount of immunity necklaces to give away... Due to the very very tame Snowman Smash (moreso Snowman Slap) results; Amy, Brian, Gina, Hunter, Michael and Russell all have immunity and are safe from bootation. This leaves our next bootee as either: Angie, Brady or Tanya. Any last thoughts, you three? Tanya: I'm not worried at all. Brady was the target last time, he'll be the target again this time. Only without a hidden idol to save him. Angie: Yup. He's toast. Brady: I don't want it to end! Isn't there anything you can do, tribe? Please, help me stay. JPtribe: Brady. As much as I would like you to stay in the game, I have zero control over the voting. I would suggest perhaps making cookies for all the voters. Backrubs, maybe? Brady: Okay, D'Abby is first, then CT, then krismiss and taffnic. Nothing sexual but I'll rub on Spot and Corvis too. Heck, I can even start with you, tribe. If you'd like? JPtribe: Sure, go ahead and start massaging while I start the voting. Brady: And remember, a free massage to anyone who doesn't vote for me! Okay, for the 9th tribal Council, I will need for you players to head to the Private Voting Booth and vote for 1 survivor. From Angie, Brady or Tanya. The survivor with the most votes will have their torch snuffed and will take a 4-poster bed in the Igloolik longhouse. Making sure to join in with Aaron, making fun of the survivors still sleeping on the ground.
