...and rhere's the Pete Carroll we all know and loathe! I was wondering where he'd gone to! Really, that was a ridiculously long vacation in the land of Competence. But we all figured he had to come home sometime, right? Let's give him a big welcoming cheer!Yes, the weighted bottles are being used for cheering. Because cheers make people happy. And the weighted bottles, when used to cheer with, will make so many people happy. For about two seconds. I haven't watched, listened to, or read a single second of postgame coverage. I know there's an excuse. I don't care to learn what it is.

There was some excellent play calling throughout the game. At crucial times the Hawks kept catching the Pats with their pants down. But that play, that's going to go down in history as embarrassingly as Bill Buckner's fielding miscue in 1984, or Boston's trading of the 'Babe' for a Broadway play. And, predictably, they are putting forth various explanations, the most hilarious of them that I've seen so far was that they were trying to kill the clock. They ran a pass play instead of a running play to kill time. But really, that was an inexplicable and inexcusable call. Oh yeah, throw in pitiful. I have to say that it was a great game, though, and a creative and reasonably brilliant half time show.
Caveat: Not a Seahawk, Patriot, or Katy Perry fan.

Not only was the play so bonehead and inexcusable, I thought the melee at the end of the game shows just how classless both teams are. I sit on the post with you Kingfish, I can't stand either team!
I turned off the game at halftime to avoid the ever-annoying Katy Perry.
