" I was happy with either winning, but rooting for Ralph more, because I thought they showed him getting the harder time from Ramsey in the beginning and Ralph was better in the beginning helping his team mates, rather than trying to get the real competition out like Michael. They both deserved it, though. This and Dancing with the Stars were my fave new shows. I am going to miss Ramsey. Hope they bring him back for more. This is the only worthwhile reality show Fox has put out other than Idol. One thing I didn't like was all the smoking. Seems like ALL the wannabe chefs were heavy smokers. I hope this isn't typical in California. If it is, I certainly hope to remain ignorant. At one point, they showed Michael smoking a cigarette while he was bringing his tray of food out for the "man on the street" test. "RE: Smoking Chefs" It seemed a bit strange to me as well - doesn't a chef rely on his/her palate to judge whether the dish is, um palatable? Wouldn't smoking have an adverse impact on that?
